This is definitely the Hunter Valley’s best new restaurant. We’ve already been twice. We couldn’t fault the food, wine or service. In fact, the service was the best we’ve had in the hunter valley in a while. How refreshing for both the waitress and sommelier to be fun, friendly and clearly love their jobs and do them well. Fine food in a relaxed and beautiful location. It won’t be long until you won’t be able to get a booking here easily.

An Awesome Fine Dining experience. Highly Recommend. Chef Bryce took us on a culinary journey with personal service. I had the 5 course tasting, where i sampled half the menu (recommended). A must visit in Hunter Valley.

Bryce excelled once again with his winter menu. We visited for our fourth meal with Restaurant Trey and again were delighted. Sophisticated food in a sun drenched casual venue. One of the hidden gems of the wine area. Below are the photos of my favorite dishes from the day, we will be back.

A real hidden gem! Our food was amazing and Cassie was wonderful serving us. The comfortable but beautiful surrounds of Wine Country Retreat were also very welcomed.

Quality food in a relaxed environment. The service was outstanding from all staff, though particularly the lady who looked after our table. She was very knowledgeable, could explain each dish and made sure everything was perfect (which it was). Very well priced for the quality of food and service. We will be back, our new favorite place!

We loved coming to Restaurant Trey! The service was just amazing and the food was delicious! You can tell the staff are proud of the work they do! We also liked that the restaurant was a little secluded from the main road, making it private. Will definitely visit again.

Fantastic breakfast just 10 minutes north of Pokolbin. Was so lucky to find somewhere open and available!!! Our breaky was amazing and again a fantastic coffee. Even had the chance to meet some of the friendly animals on site. The accommodation here is really nice as well. Certainly check this place out, we'll be back for sure!

Fiancé and I went for dinner last week. It’s a hidden gem! We were unable to get bookings elsewhere because hunter is so busy right now. Massive blessing because it exceeded our expectations and then some. The food was so delicious and the staff were extremely kind and attentive. Highly recommend, will be first on our list when we come back.
