Hunter Pet Motel

Recently moved from another kennel to Hunter Pet Motel and so glad we did. Great facilities, super friendly and helpful staff and the doggos love it!

Honest family owned business that takes care of my girls Pippa and Bella just like I do. One of the owners is a veteran of the Australian Defence Force which in itself deserves respect. Honestly, I will never trust the welfare of my girls anywhere else. Would give 10/5 if it was possible. Awesome place with awesome people.

I googled pet boarding facilities and stumbled on the Hunter Pet Motel, when our usual vet boarding service was fully booked. I rang the Hunter Pet Hotel a couple weeks before we went away, during school holidays and They were so quick to accomodate my cat. The facility is spacious, welcoming, and very clean. I was able to get a small tour of the cat boarding area upon drop off. The friendly, young, staff were very reassuring that my kitten would be looked after and even accommodated her unusual feeding schedule (They even keep a feeding chart). I plan on always using their amazing service for future vacations as the kennels are spacious , staff are friendly and flexible. Very satisfied.

I wouldn't go anywhere else to board our kitties, and we travel 45mins from home to here - it's that good! I know they are being so well looked after, as the staff are amazing, caring and take the time and energy to look after each individual. Thank you to everyone at Hunter Pet Motel for looking after our Basil, Maggie and Biscuit. <3

For several years now, I have entrusted my family of small dogs to Hunter Pet Motel while I'm away, knowing that they will be just as well looked after as if I'd stayed home! An exceptional team of highly experienced staff do a wonderful job of caring for my little ones and the peace of mind I have while I'm away is priceless.

Charlie n Pickles our two dogs stayed for 11 days. The kennels looked clean and tidy, they were both treated to a shower n clean b4 pickup. We couldn’t have been happier. Well done!!

10/10 would book here again if I needed boarding in the Hunter Valley. The staff were really friendly and went above and beyond for my husband & I. Not only did they ensure our Aussie Shepherd Merlin was looked after; they also assisted my brother get Merlin ready for his ring bearer duties for our wedding ceremony.We had to make soo many date changes surrounding our wedding due to COVID-19. Then just 3 days out from the wedding, the alternate accommodation we had booked for Merlin the night of the wedding fell through. The staff were soo helpful at booking in Merlin for the extra night; and arranging a pick up service for Merlin to take him back to boarding for the night. Highly recommended!

A bit expensive when charging by the day not the night. Arrived 15 minutes before closing. Still charged for a whole day. Pick up at 11am. Still charged for a whole day. Not good value
