Golden West Security

Not happy with their staff service. I got the quotes for the front security doors for three house. Upon asking for cash price the staff gave 10% off on each quote. On later other staff refused it.said I must be mistaken.then the first staff again send me the quote with 10% discount on each quotes in written in my email.i can't be wrong so my husband went to the store to deposit 50% of the service as to their policy but staff again refused it.Please don't put the staff on attending calls and sending emails and giving wrong quotes if they are not authorised for it .Never recommend anyone. They lost our three house.

Poor communication, waited around all day for locksmith to come out, wasnt until i called they said they were unable to get there until the next day, the next day come, i called at 1230 to find out where they where and was told they were running errands and would be out to me soon. 3 hours passed i called back to only be told oh we cant get there now it will be monday afternoon. No apologies nothing!Avoid thus business if you want the job done!

After dealing with a previous dodgy company fighting for weeks to get our deposit back, we contacted golden west. They were friendly and approachable. Quote was completed within a fortnight. When paying a deposit it stated 20% on the form, but when contacted them over the phone to pay the deposit (bank details on our form were incorrect) they said it had changed to 50%. We weren’t told otherwise so we only paid 20%. Security screens were installed within a month. Lovely man who installed them. Only negative is that we were told they were coming after lunchtime and had planned the day around that. But was called at 9:00am saying 10mins away and had to reschedule appt. Apart from that. Very happy with the doors. Would recommend :)

As part of our move we decided to replace the rear fly screens on the patio and engaged a local company to do the work. Despite 3 phone calls over two weeks we were no nearer getting them replaced and were told that we should have paid a 50% deposit which they could have told us when we accepted their quote so we were back to square one. (It was on the quotation in small print which was easily missed.) Consequently I rang Golden West Security and explained our predicament and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Dwayne rang us to arrange a quotation, arrived on time and the doors were fitted in two, yes, two days. We were very surprised and grateful for this as it was quite a stressful period for us. The quote for the doors was also much lower than the first. Would recommend this company and it’s very helpful staff to any potential customers without any hesitation.

Dealt with Golden West for a few jobs at my rental property and every time they have been very easy to deal with. Prices are good and they are very easy to get a hold of via email or phone.Had an issue with one job(miscommunication) and it was all sorted out over the phone/email with myself and Golden West coming to an agreement.

I have used Golden West several times and my first time writing a review. They recently installed 6 roller shutters and same as the previous work done, security doors and screens, they had a very competetive price, good communication and great workmanship. After getting installed what I was told to be crim safe screens on all the doors of my home, I have recently found out that they are anything but.A couple of weeks ago the screen door to the back yard took a bump from my daughter, the whole screen feel out of the tracks and landed flat on the floor outside.I had another company come out to have a look and they have told me these are not actually crim safe screens.I now have to pay for new tracks and 2 extra locks on all the doors to actually make them crim safe, something I was unaware of.I am extremely upset at being scammed and paying for a product to be installed in which I did not receive.Trying to speak to reception this morning I was spoken to like I was an inconvenience, Hayley was blunt, rude and dismissive.
