Saw the Phat Dirty Roots Band...wicked...worth the hours drive to the depths of Semaphore. The venue is nicely near the shore and Palais, but oddly obscure by its lack of advertising. Inside it is replete with advertising but which is less to do with music as you might expect and more to do with, well, workers rights and foreign politics. Each to their own, but an undeniable ambiance and a venue full of very welcoming and friendly clientele.

I visited there for the first time. First impression was after 5mins changed after the eyes adjusted to the dim light.Wonderful old paintings and historic scenes on the walls, Che Guevara posters, a billiards table, bar, stage where high class life music was offered.Staff: lovely and flexible to serve their guests even unusual drink combinations.Prices: very affordableVisit there again: for sure

Good venue despite the pillars. Very loud due to the small set up and it was very late to start. For some reason they stop you going in before the published start time, yet they don't start on time, so they could be making more money from drink sales.Bar prices very good compared to other venues.

Iconic home of The CPA, overlooking Semaphore Beach, fantastic Live Music Venue, showcasing the best Adelaide Bands, available for private functions. Friendly staff who work hard behind the scenes! Cheers! Marisa

Came across this bar after being on the beach. Lovely place with a great old school feel. They play blues which isn't my immediate first choice genre, but it ended being a brilliant evening. Highly recommend.

Great place, good vibes interesting artwork on walls some may even say quirky, This old property has some amazing woodwork. Drink prices were great, staff quick and friendly and the crowd friendly. Huge pool tables a good set up and venue would be great to hold functions in.Went to catch up with family have a bite to eat and watch a local band. It was wonderful to see community support local Adelaide artists, Tin Can Alley and Holler & The Bones band who are representing South Australia in Memphis for the International Blues competition.
