Brooklyn Boy Bagels | Brooklyn Boy Bagels is an artisan producer of authentic New York bagels using proper traditional techniques and based in Sydney, Australia. We are the slow food version of these Polish-Jewish breads, using two-day cold fermentation processes, kettle boiling, hand rolling and baking on handcrafted wooden bagel boards.

Brooklyn Boy Bagels
Finally made it here! The choice of bagels is extensive and embarrassed to say I had a plain one as it was my first time.The fried chicken was delicious, it worked well with the cheese, slaw and chipotle sauce. The crisps on the side were a nice added touch. The sandwich was delicious and keen to try more.

Unquestionably, hands down the best bagel in Sydney! I’m so thankful that finally, I was able to find this spot for some good breakfast and coffee just in time. I will definitely rate them a five-star for everything that they provided.

Brooklyn Boy Bagels
The bagel’s themselves were so delicious and fresh! I had a salmon and cream cheese which was pretty good (pictured). My partner got the Reuben bagel which unfortunately was pretty dry and didn’t have much filling on it. We were pretty disappointed as we ended up paying $38 for two small bagels without any drinks (inc Sunday surcharge).

So yum! Just like the real deal in NYC!We ordered a bagel box with schmears to serve our guests the morning after our wedding, they went down a treat! Getting them delivered was so easy - great communication when we needed to change the delivery address. Thanks so much! Highly recommend.

My daughter loves bagels. I don't but we went anyway, Grabbed a coffee and in the end I shared a vegan bagel with my daughter. Coffee was great but the bagel was divine! Now I'm a fan. The staff were very friendly and the manager, Sam, is lovely and such a live wire character. Really enjoyed my brief stay there. I will come back. Highly recommended :)

Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3.5/5Taste: Was in NYC in Nov, and ate bagels for a week straight. Brooklyn Boy shallot & garlic cream cheese is pretty tasty - on par with the potent scallion spreads in NYC. But while the poppy seed had a nice crust, the inside texture was not as soft, sticky and chewy as the ones in NYC. Still, decent bite overall, and will meet your NYC bagel craving fairly well. Big dollop of cheese & chunks of salmon - looks like they took on the feedback from earlier reviews well.Price: $16.50 is quite steep. Yes I know not to compare like for like with NYC (which was $7-8 USD), but versus brekkie sangas, B&E rolls and Banh Mi rolls in the Marrickville area - will make you think thrice about coming back again. This would be my regular spot if the price was closer to $12. But hey it’s all relative so take what you will!

Wowza! This place was great!We got the bacon, egg and cheese plus the fried chicken bagel and both were fantastic.It has a great ‘warehouse’ vibe with indoor and outdoor seating and service is relatively quick too.Only reason it was not a 5 star is due to the very limited menu options. Other than that, ill definitely be back again.If you haven’t already been, then i highly recommend!
