Most unhelpful & rude company I have ever dealt with. When my car first broke down after only having it back 1 day from the mechanics they refused to pick it up as I was 5k out of the 25k limit on my voucher even after I offered to pay for the extra 5k. I managed to get another car to tow me in closer but when I called back they said I would have to wait with the car (had my 1 year old) but they couldn't even give me a time frame & I would have to sit with my car with what she said could be hours" with my little one. When I suggested leaving the keys in the mail box for them again this was an issue & she said they wouldn't pick it up unless I was with the car. So basically they are not interested in helping at all. Thank you so much to Abel Towing for letting me leave the keys out for him without an issue & for picking it up within an hour."

I contacted the TACC after having an issue with a mechanical service. I had a new motor fitted that I already paid for and had the car returned to me with all sorts issues and not in working order, with the mechanic wanting to charge me extra $$$ to fix it. This was a very stressful time, especially because the mechanic refused to give back the car unless I paid them the extra money.I spoke with a staff member of the TACC over the phone, after he promptly returned my call, he listened to everything and advised me on the best approach. I then prompted the mechanic to call TACC too for information. The TACC spoke with the mechanic about the issues with the car and his legal obligations to his customers. Turned out I didn't have to pay any extra money. I am very happy with the outcome, given I was contemplating paying the extra money until calling the TACC who were extremely professional and helpful without any cost to me. You saved me a lot of time and money, Thank you!!!

Called Tasmanian Consumer Affairs department to seek advice on whether a repair offer I had received from a dealer service department and the vehicle manufacturer for fixing a defect in my vehicle transmission was a reasonable offer. I also needed to know whether I should pursue an improved negotiated outcome. Was put through to Malcolm at TACC who was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with my query and set my mind at ease. Great service!

TERRIBLE service. The roadside assistant damaged my car and towed it to Cooper. Cooper called me and said it cost me hundreds $ to get it fixed. So I spoke to a staff from tacc. He kept arguing and just refused to admit it was their fault. He said We definitely had nothing to do with the damages". In the end of the talk

I experienced rude staff driving a TACC company car. They were beeping at me when I was driving safely in the city and choosing to not block a pedestrian crossing. It's not my fault they decided to drive out into the road when there was nowhere for them to go. They don't respect other people's safe driving decisions.

My advice if you're thinking about joining is: save your money it's worthless they fail to inform people there are always extra costs thankfully the tow truck driver informed me before he came, I had a complimentary voucher from Jackson Motor Company as I said, Worthless. Put the money I saved towards a new battery - thanks Latrobe Towing.
