Albany Creek Library

Clean, friendly, and spacious library. Nice area for the kids to read and a playground outside. I was able to work at one of the desk spaces and free wifi available. I would recommend bringing a jumper as the air-conditioning is rather cold during winter.

Really friendly staff, great kids books area and games library.My only issue (and I have found this in many libraries) is the level of noise.You used to be able to go to the library to study, now that is almost impossible. The library used to be a place you needed to be quite, to whisper.Don't get me wrong, kids need to be able to go to the library, they need to acquire a love for books and reading (I have kids so I get that they can't always be super quiet).They have a few separate rooms, why don't they get used for toddler reading time and the talks that get held?It is really disruptive to have kids running around screaming and have a full presentation happening in the main area of the library when you want to get some reading and study done (even with earphones on).

Rhyme Time here and lots of baby books. Some good toys in the toy library. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. Little playground out the back. Could improve on indoor play area.

The kids love it here. Been going for years. The ladies that work here are all so friendly. Don't mind playing the odd board game with the kids too. I'd give it 6 stars if they had test match.

A great library with helpful staff. Books from other Moreton bay libraries can be delivered for a very small fee. The big bonus is the ability to borrow digital and audio books. The beauty of accessing these loans is no late fees. When they are due, they are automatically returned which is helpful is you don't visit the library often.

I only went in to read my own book. The staff gave me a cheery welcome, and showed me a comfortable chair. Very nice!As you would expect, many many books. They were well laid out, with plenty of space to move around.A credit to Moreton Shire Council.
