After our hot water suddenly stopped running, I called local plumber who changed some valve and cleaned the pipes and advised me to call Rinnai. BTW the valve was in perfect working order, but he had to charge me for something. After one call to Rinnai their technician Brandon arrived promptly and fixed the problem within 10 minutes. He clearly explained me what was wrong, and I was happy when he told me that it is still under manufacture warranty. So very satisfied customer.

I wrote a review about this company some time ago and it seems to have gone. Had [its gone now] a ducted unit new, several calls and 3 independent opinions later, several thousand dollars in repairs ?? as Rinnai walked I ve ripped it all out, There is a design issue which even the head office engineer could not sort out, he spent 4 hours here and left in a sulk. Its between the controller and the compressor and the in ceiling unit .The set point , ie [plus ---2] on and off is about 5 to 7 degrees , the fans run at will . In summer the cooling will reach set point only after more than an hour [in a fully insulated small single story new build] because often the air being supplied is not cold enough. The unit is so loud neighbors went apeYou name it , its happened as I write this is on the way to the trip $10k down the drain .I got legal advice and professional opinions , I'm just not up to it.so save yourselves the drama and go elsewhere ,

I attended the servicing of a central heating unit at my daughter's home this morning, in her absence. The technician was ultra-efficient, and despite his describing to the trainee many features of the unit's workings, what to look for when trouble-shooting and repairing the unit etc, he was remarkably quick and impressively efficient. Any time that was taken in teaching the new guy was more than compensated for by the speed at which he worked. He was clearly very knowledgable, and is a credit to Rinnai. If this guy is typical of the talent there, I would recommend them without hesitation.

Hi everyoneThe plumber installed hot warm unit from Rinnai company in my house, we realised noise inside the unit, I called the company and they sent angry technician to my house , he said problem with valve, the valve cost me 250$ to changed, still we have same problems.I don’t recommend this company at all

The Rinnai team was very prompt in registering a complaint and sending a team on the same day to check an issue with the electric water storage heater. Their service provider True Blue in NSW was very helpful and made sure they identify the root cause of the problem for the product which was under warranty. Overall, I am very happy with the service of Rinnai and its partners.

Just the idea of my heating not working sent me with pangs of inconsolable doom.Happily, the Brivis team who came to service my 10 year old heater restored it to its former glory, and I now enjoy toasty, comforting and reassuring warmth on demand. The team worked with confidence, deep skill and breath-taking precision.

I would give 0 star if there’s option!The guy who came said he’s unable to carry out the work unless I get someone to install the crawl-able platform on ceiling or make 2nd manhole near ducted heater for him to carry out the job.I rang other company and the technician has no problem to crawl and carried out the job perfectly. He even went back and forth couple times!Avoid the Rinnai if possible, wasting time and money.

Absolutely got ripped off. Called Rinnai on the advice of our builder to come and replace an $8 flexible hose. Got charged $233.87 which included a 45 minute appliance assessment. The plumber was there 10 minutes, replaced the hose and left, but not before my wife told him it was still leaking because he hadn't tightened it up.
