Barkroyal Boutique Pet Resort

Barkroyal is a fantastic facility. Neither of my dogs had ever been kenneled before but they settled in ( together, shared run) without any drama. They were well cared for and I was sent photos of them too. They are going there again tomorrow for 8 days. I feel reassured that they will be safe and well cared for. Highly recommend

Having recently moved to the Gold Coast from overseas with our dog it was very important for us to find a good home for him when we had to go out of town. Luckily we found Bark Royal. The staff and wonderful; friendly and obviously very pet friendly (thank you Caz). The rooms are better than some hotel rooms I've stayed in, and the location is great. Our dog had a great stay and although he was very happy to see us when we picked him I wouldn't have blamed him if he wanted to stay!

I (Pamela Simper) have been going to Bark Royal for MANY years, our last dog Cosmo went regularly and he loved it there, sadly he succumbed to age. We now have a beautiful dog Bobby, he loves it at the Bark Royal, and he doesn't want to come home after his day there. I would recommend the Bark Royal to anyone. Thanks Bark Royal for looking after my dogs so well.

Amazing place to leave your dog! Staff are so caring and go above and beyond for your pet! Highly recommend the Bark Royal!

BE WARNED !!! We recently conducted an inspection on this facility prior to leaving our dogs with them and was utterly shocked at the conditions of the place. Let’s just say there is nothing “boutique” about it !!! Rooms were filled with chipped tiles, cold and completely uncomfortable. I have seen better conditions at the local RSPCA shelter !!I see why after getting 4 quotes these guys were the cheapest!! Very poor conditions and false advertising calling it boutiqueSecondly the so called rooms with outside fenced areas were all closed off in the middle of the day for all the rooms we saw, with dogs at the doors just looking out wanting some space !! When someone pays for their dog to have access to an outside area for the duration you would expect it to be open at least while the place is staffed and during the day,Wouldn’t leave my worst enemy there let alone one of our dogs,Very discussed !!

My last review of Barkroyal was quite a few years ago and felt it needed updating. My comments then can only be confirmed and more. Bella our much loved border collie has just returned to us after a week with Barkroyal looking happy and fabulous after her hydro bath (she is a long haired border collie). She was full of energy and we think an actual smile which we took to mean I have had a great week. Her long time room mate Charlie was in residence which only added to her enjoyment. We cannot thank the staff enough for their care and attention allowing us to enjoy our holiday knowing our precious little girl was in good hands. Thanks again as always. See you again soon. My dog had a great stay and came home happy and healthy. All staff were professional and took good care of my dog. Thank you!

I recently left my dog at this kennel for 2 weeks. It was quite expensive. We were assured that my dog would be washed the day before pick up. When I picked him up he was in a terrible state! He smelt and looked like a street dog, and he was very dirty.I rang the next day to resolve the issue but they told me that he had definitely been washed. He also was starving. I would never recommend anyone leaving their pets with these people.Would give zero rating but 1 star lowest option.
