All Stars Martial Arts Academy

My family have trained here at different times over the past 7 years and I believe not only are they a friendly and welcoming club, but they provide you with all the resources you need to develop your karate and overall ability to better defend yourself. I think it’s particularly helpful how they provide online resources and videos to allow you to practice at home as much as you want or need to achieve your goals - then in class, the great, knowledgeable instructors will help correct and explain all the details that make the difference.

I love this place great staff and lovely service ,I really enjoyed learning karate and tryout kickboxing with my friends I got to black belt in karate and met so many friends along the way. I also did the holiday program and enjoyed the archery and all the fun games. I now have been here for 5 years and going on my 6th one.I Definitely would recommend!

If I had the option of giving them no stars to minus I would but unfortunately the one star option is all I can put down. My reasons are that this so called Marshal arts academy is the reason why people scoff at you when you say I study Karate and don't take you seriously as someone that studies marshal arts! And I don't blame them as this place has become more about taking your money and teaching you watered down, soccer mum approved Karate for an after school program. I was tought from these guys and like everyone else that has come and gone, so have I and found a better institution elsewhere. If you want to spend money and have nothing to show for it then by all means this is the place for you.

Our 4 year old son has been having lessons for nearly one year now. We have been really happy with his instructor Andrew we have seen a huge improvement in skill and confidence. He thoroughly enjoys his Saturday mornings at karate. We would highly recommend the centre.

Hi I'd like to say one of the best martial arts schools in the Eastern suburbs I have learnt alot from rod and built up my confidence health and stamina I've been training there for a long period of time and feels like family good prices and amazing training keep it up rod

All Stars is a great place to train. The instructors are inclusive and everybody from instructors to black belts to beginners are helpful and respectful of each other.

Anthony ran an excellent Ninja Karate party for a group of 8 - 10 year olds, where no parental supervision was needed, and all the kids had a great time. Highly recommend their parties!

Stuck with it all the way to black belt, eventually moved on to Golden Lion Academy Kung Fu and honestly the ease with which some kids and adults pass through the different grades in comparison with GLA and some other local schools, makes it clear that the main focus for All Stars is the money and there is very little passion for actual martial arts. Perhaps this has changed in the past few years since I was there but that seems unlikely. Would probably just rate 1 star but Sensei, Theresa (sorry if incorrect spelling) was always a genuinely nice person and enthusiastic teacher.

What a fantastic dojo to be part of for the past 4 years! Koncho Rod's initiative to facilitate an online weekly additional chat class for the kids this year during lockdown is proof that the All Star staff really care about the kids! My daughter gets so much more than just Karate lessons! The support and prompt adaptability of this club during COVID is to be commended.
