If the stars were just for courteousness, the staff here would get 5 stars. It is a little shop so cannot carry everything but has a good selection of necessities and treats.The staff and ( for the most part, very local ) customers all follow the covid safe systems set out for the shop

Always disappointed! They charge double and the worst is, shelving food that is past its used by date. Two items my husband has bought recently have both given me food poisoning. Stop shopping here!

Don’t shop at this store. Hazelbrook IGA routinely charges 20-30% more at the check out than the price advertised on the shelf, and they don’t change the register price on supposed ‘sale’ items. They are ripping-off every second customer who walks through the door. This has happened 80+ times this year alone when I complained to the supposed-manager’Trevor’, he threatened to beat me up. Will be reporting this institutionalised theft to theACCC and police. After 3 years of being repeatedly ripped off I am calling out this store as thieves.
