I worked with Chris Hunter from Hunter Building Services on a building renovation for a client who is a wheelchair user. Hunter Building Services were selected from three builders because of their transparent quoting process and their commitment to deliver the renovation within a short timeframe. Chris and his team have a very 'client centred approach' and went above and beyond to get the job done. He demonstrated awareness of disability and liaised closely with myself, suppliers and the client to provide a beautiful accessible home. Strong communication, flexibility, time management and attention to detail were executed to deliver a high-quality product. I have no hesitation in recommending Chris and his team.

My experince with Chris from Hunter services was great, he constantly kept me informed, was fair with prices and was always available when I need him. The quality of his work is fantastic! the site was always clean and organised! Chris is easy to talk to and always inviting. He always made things easy to understand and didn’t use technical language to explain things. I would definetly recommed Hunter Building services and will use the them again for my next build.

Chris and Abi of Hunter Building completed the full renovations of my house. My house was required to be renovated for wheelchair access and accessibility. The professionalism and quality of work from the quotation stage right through to completion was excellent. Throughout the period I could not have been happier with how the renovations and communication for the project went. Chris’s ability to communicate throughout was fantastic and very much appreciated. Chris has a high level of client focus matched with great advice throughout the term of the project. It was also evident throughout the project that Chris has good project management skills which allowed the project to be finished in the shortest time possible. This was evident of the amount of trades and services that were used over the period. I would not hesitate in recommending Hunter Building for any further project as their work is exceptional and with their professionalism and client focus being first class.

We have engaged Chris and Abi from HBS on several project including renovations, new builds, commercial fitouts and have been very happy with quality and professional approach to construction by the team. I used Hunter Building for a recent renovation prior to selling the property. They were constructive with putting forward cost effective ideas that ended up looking great whilst sticking to my budget. I liked the fact that they only used trusted tradespeople that had attention to detail, which is a rare find in this skill shortage. As a result of the work, the house sold for over the asking price. I intend to use them again on future projects.

Chris took on a house renovation for us from when we were in a crisis and did not know where to start. From that point on we have been able to modernise our house and have prepared it to respond to our family's needs for the future. One major piece of refurbishment has led to our lounge being turned into a more efficient and stylish design feature that we have been able to personalise in a way that wasn't imaginable before. Chris also project managed the work of an electrician, an air condition servicer and a roof plumber to review and upgrade the house fittings that time has shown were out of date from when our home was built 20 years ago. Along the way Chris kept us updated on about when things would be done and the expected costs. He also worked well with other trades people that were assisting us at the time, understood our preferences and was adaptable around Covid concerns. We have since recommended him to other contacts of ours to assist with some essential works on another property.
