Update: Second visit today. Derek is THE best!First review:I visited Soma Massage for remedial massage. The place is very clean, organised and operates as any normal professional healthcare place would.My therapist Gloria was great. She is very experienced and ensured that all the sore areas get proper attention and that I feel relaxed. My sore neck (they call it computer neck. :) ) is no longer sore.Derek is a responsible business owner who makes sure that the customers get full value.Glad to visit Soma Massage. Highly recommended.Parking: there is enough on street parking. There is also a public parking across the street.

I just came home from my massage and it was amazing. I highly recommend Derek- friendly, professional and an excellent masseuse. The service was fantastic with just the right pressure to relieve my sore back. I left feeling very relaxed. I look forward to my next appointment :)

I cannot rate Derek highly enough. He knows all the right pressure points and I leave feeling 10/10, like my body is floating on a cloud. Without a doubt the best massage and cupping I’ve ever had.

I originally wanted a deep tissue sports massage, although Derek the man that does it was not working that night. He told me to go regardless and if I was not happy to let him know. I went and had a good massage although pressure was not enough to release my tension ( I am very tight due to high sport activity). I notified Derek and he assured me he would work something out. He told me to come back for another FREE massage, I went and he proceeded to give me one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve had. Derek and the staff are super friendly, experienced and have a very good understanding of the body. I highly recommend Soma to anyone from general massage to deep tissue sports massage.

I cannot recommend Derek any more highly! Derek has a caring and warm approach to his treatment and really takes the time to focus on your trouble areas. You know he is a pro because when he finds a tight muscle, he focuses in on it with the required pressure to resolve it before moving on.I've had massages at other establishments that feel like they're just going through a standardised massage script and counting down the minutes. But Derek really takes the time to make sure you walk out of his clinic feeling great!I've only recently moved to the area but feel very lucky to have stumbled upon Soma in Ashwood. Thanks for the great massages Derek, you're amazing!

Easily the best remedial massage treatment I've had done on me. Emma (the therapist) knew exactly what she was doing and was able to feel into areas that needed special attention and skillfully work to release held tension and soreness in the body. I was very impressed by her knowledge and expertise. Will definitely be going back for further treatment and would highly recommend Emma as a therapist.

I went to Soma today and was impressed by the clean and relaxing space, and the attention to detail by Derek. He seemed so attentive to addressing my muscle soreness, and is passionate about helping his clients improve and manage their injuries. Outstanding, can’t wait for the next session!

Just want to say that there are no words that I can say but I’m feeling so much better now after getting a massage from Derek at Soma massage.Definitely can’t wait to go back as he is very good fun to talk to and he could tell I was under a lot of strain physically. After a 1 hour and 30 min session I felt totally relaxed and refreshed with some pep in my step! I highly recommend!
