Happy Travels Darwin

Noel at Happy Travels Darwin went out of his way to help me and my friends book the most amazing trips to explore the Outback! We had no idea what we were looking for but he gave us all the information and help we needed. The best thing about the company is that they are the only independent travel agency in the area which means you decide yourself which tours you eventually book and they don’t force you to go with a certain operator (all they do is give advise and think along to choose the right one for you). In a way you’re planning your own trip and they help you with all the stressful work you don’t want to deal with. Even when we had questions during our trip we could always call them and they would help us out right away.

I highly recommend Happy Travels! The Manager, Noel, helped me to organize my whole trip in a great way. He is super professional and patient. He really wants the best for his customers. He supports them in any possible way and always goes the extra mile. He definitly loves his Job. As he is very experienced and knows every tour and most of the guides he is able to find the most suitable tour depending on his customer needs/requirements. Even when I figured out that I need to cut my whole Australia trip by 2 weeks on a short term notice, he re-organized my trip in such a nice way that I still could do every highlight that I wanted to do. Thank you very much, Noel! You made my trip :)

Very friendly staff - both Mike and Christiane were helpful and go the extra mile for their customers! We had been to other travel tour shops in Darwin but we felt like we were getting pushed to book expensive tours and they wouldn't go into detail about cheaper options. We wanted to hire a car and book the jumping crocodile tour but there were no cars left for the day we wanted and we were flying to Cairns the day after! Luckily Christiane had a car booked for the day we wanted and she gave us her rented car!! Thank you so much for the fantastic service!

I went to happy travels to book one or two things down the east coast as I only had a small budget. So I sat down with Noel telling him about this and his words where ; I have and idea

Noel was an absolute gem. He really made the start of our Oz journey a time to remember. He listened to what we wanted and came up with great opportunities for us. Kakadu will stay with me for the rest of my life. Massive thumbs up to the happy travel team who were always happy to greet, meet, talk and create memories for everyone who not only walked in the door but passers by too. Would absolutely recommend to everyone.

Noel is a star. Unfortunately something had gone wrong at the rental company and therefore we couldn’t pick up our van in Adelaide. Noel immediately helped us via phone and arranged it all, whilst keeping us informed even though he was also working on other trips. Now we’re on the road and I would def recommend booking trips & transportation via happy travels!

Noel just helped us to have an amazing trip in the NT. We got the best out of our money and time! We'd never had been able to see so much without his help. If you don't have a very good plan about where to go or how to travel I can't give you any advice but ask him!

Arrived in Darwin from England completely clueless about what to do on my trip around Australia. So grateful to have met the Happy Travels team who hooked me up with the best trips that fit perfectly within my budget! :D Also gave me some great tips on the best hostels to stay ;)

A big compliment to the happy travel office in Darwin! I booked nearly everything what I'll do or what I already did in Australia with happy travels. Noel, Katy and Ryan are always ready to help you, always with a smile in the face. I booked my whole Eastcoast trip with Noel, and I can't speak highly enough of him. He has a huge knowledge about Australia, and he gives you the best advice. He explains everything with such a passion, that you get the feeling you're already there. You can see that he really likes his job, and he has no problem to do overtime, because he really wants to make the best out of your trip. If you have a small budget,.. don't worry, he will help you. Most friendly people and amazing help in planning pretty much any part of your trip. Spent over an hour talking to Noel and he gave us incredible tips on highlights, how to plan, where to stay, etc. He helped us book tours, transport and accomodation. Would 100% recommend stopping buy!
