Corinella Jetty

Great spot to fish or enjoy the views of French island

Stopped here after having lunch nearby. Beautiful afternoon made for this picturesque location with plenty of boats out on the water. Seems to be a good place for fishing as there were a few locals enjoying their time here. Seen a couple of big stingrays and others fish hanging around the pier. Plenty of parking in the area.

On a sunny morning, there cannot be a better place to explore the beauty of the bay. It might get a bit busy with boats constantly coming in and out of water ( especially on weekends), however, that doesn't stop anyone from quietly exploring the pier or fishing there.

I really don't like this ramp, as l quite often launch my boat by myself. The pier is so high up at low tide, makes its very difficult to launch and retrieve. The weed clogs the ramp and ends up all over your trailer. I understand the tide flows in Western Port are very high, but floating pontoons have been used very successfully at other ramps. Apparently just undergone upgrades, but l dont see it. You have to park your car and trailer, up the hill away from the ramp. There are a number of 10 minute parking, near the ramps, but you can't even park in these to clean your fish, ridiculous. Check out my fishing videos at Axeman's Fishing Adventures on YouTube.

Magical, peaceful little haven of happiness

Pier looks well maintained, lower levels on pier available. Picture is over the other side, approx. 0630

Peacefully lovely, easy ramp for boating, lots of parking and a BBQ area, washroom etc. A relaxing pier. Fishing is hits and misses.

Was a few people fishing when we were there and the boat ramp a bit further along was busy as well. Seems to be a popular spot

Awesome spot! I had never come to Corinella. My son and I planned to kayak across to French Island and chose to launch from here. Great spot. Lots of bird life with black swans, herons, silver gulls, seagulls, pelicans and ibis. We also saw two large rays around the pier.
