Dana Patisserie

Dana is one of my favorite coffee shops I have ever been to around Melbourne. I am a hot chocolate person, but I know that they have amazing coffee! Pastries are always freshly baked. Chocolate and almond croissant are the best! Staff is simply amazing, superbfriendly and privide great service. Highly recommended!!

A bustling pastry place near Chapel Street making it a convenient place to pick up brekky or lunch with a nice coffee! They have a Middle Easter influence, with special pastries they make on weekends such as bourekas, and a caramelised fruit croissant! The shakshouka pastry was also very special and the tomato relish worked so nicely.They also have lovely cakes and breads available to take away - tried the chocolate challah which was so soft and the chocolate chips inside were delicious!

There was such an impressive range so I definitely recommend arriving early so you have the full spread to choose from. There’s a great variety of both sweet and savoury so I had to seek recommendations on what to try.I ended up with a tomato and feta puff, chocolate eclair, lemon meringue tart, berry croissant, Nutella brownie log and bag of chocolate chip cookies (though the praline mousse cake was also incredibly appealing).Everything was incredible as you would anticipate being a small batch artisan bakery and impressively they make every single product on site. I love that it’s all made fresh and by hand, you don’t mind paying extra knowing it’s not commercial mass produced goods and that heavenly flaky pastry transported me straight to Paris

Cute little bakery on Carlisle Street. I didn’t go at the best time - Sunday late afternoon. Most of the pastries were sold out.I did manage to get a pain au chocolate which was nearly the size of my hand, even though it was late it was still so fresh and flaky. I also some mini pecan pies which were decadent and lovely with a cuppa. Very reasonably priced, the pain was $5 and pecan pies were $12.Will definitely be back to see the full range of what they offer! I can say it’s one of the better patisseries around.

Once again we had ordered a piece montée" of 80 choux (tiered cake) at Dana. Once again we had a blast. They are really very good. Go for it"

My absolute favourite bakery in Melbourne!! Their baked goods, pastries and even coffee all taste amazing! Today my colleagues and I tried the mini pecan pies and everyone was raving about them. The staff at Dana also make this place amazing. Always really warm and welcoming! Also one of the very few places around that are quick on service, which is great when I’m in a rush. Dana in Balaclava is a must must try!

I went to this place to buy croissants and bought Danis and friand. They have lots of selection of sweets and savory. The guy who served me is adorable and so passionate as well. The taste of their products is mouth-watering and amazing

Had a chance to finally tried the pastries and artisan baked goods here and definitely won’t be the last time!On the day we got:- choc chally (only available on Friday)- mixed berry- pineapple & coconut- tomato & feta- lemon tartLove the buttery and flaky pastry along with all sort of fillings and toppings. These are freshly baked and you definitely want to come in early before all the favourite pastries sold out. And look at how big the choc challa is, definitely a must get if you come on a Friday!!
