I used to live here and caught the train here all the time. Now it is so much more modern. Wow, Cheso station is moving up in the world!

A good train station. Several seats. Plenty of shelter. No lift to the platforms. Trains that depart here service south-west Sydney, Bankstown and the city. Services are not as frequent as other train lines that service Sydney. The state government has announced plans to rip up the train line from Bankstown to Sydenham and replace the heavy rail line with a Metro service - this future change will mean that travellers from Chester Hill to the city will need to change to a Metro train at Bankstown if they want to travel to the city.

No accessibility features (no lifts, no ramps). Services are infrequent (every 30 minutes) and are usually delayed.Chester Hill station has the opportunity to be renovated as it is getting dated and dirty.I have seen the elderly struggling to navigate the stairs. There is no provision for wheelchair users (no lift or ramp) and it is hard for people with injuries or disabilities to access this station.

The station is very clean and maintained by the staff there.As per previous comments this station is in desperate need for lifts especially those on wheelchairs and the elderly.
