Wynnum Bearings & Bolts

I've been to this shop a few times now for bits and bobs. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good old fashioned service from a great local business.

Went down to Wynnum today to get ball bearings, which only they had in stock. Very nice staff. Would recommend!

Unfortunately didn't have good experience. bought some new wheels for my longboard and decided to get some new nuts to fit with them I took the original nut down and the lady matched it I asked her can she double check as I knew they were a bit odd size but she insisted they were right 5$ for 4 nuts took them home and screwed on with a socket the nut got about 2/3 on then locked up the ss nut welded to my axle it was the wrong thread pitch my axle is destroyed and my new wheels are useless as they can't come off and can't be fully tightend over a 150$ worth of damage because of a wrong nut I would accept the blame if I hadn't insisted she double check but she was adamant there were the correct nuts and they are supposed to be the experts.

I walked out with $30 worth of parts and was treated like I had spent thousands. I will definitely be going back! Thank you

Was stuck roller came of bearing on trailer needed 1 split pin ! They would only sell me 5 bucks worth even though I had cash : (. Went to wynnum marine and they gave me one for free ! One wonders why a place like this would put its reputation on the line to locals for sake of a 25cent split pin ? Go elsewhere ! I did !

Great little store for all tools, nuts, bolts, rods etc. Staff are always keen to help you out with whatever you need. A hidden gem.

Handy store, I'm glad this place exists. Much better range than almost anywhere else, though unusual fasteners can still be hard to get.
