True artistic skills based learning from artists and teachers with deep knowledge and experience. If you really want to know how to draw, paint, sculpt with real process and knowledge, come and see these guys. Break through your current skill plateau!

This is the place where you will find Artists producing Fine Art. The tuition is excellent. If this were back in the day you would probably find the likes of Rembrandt hanging out here.

Really great life drawing sessions, teachers are lovely and super helpful, and it’s very cheap for untutored sessions!

Atelier has been such a great find. It’s enriched my life. I hadn’t touched a charcoal for years and was simply looking for somewhere to do a bit of untutored life-drawing. At Atelier they actually teach skills! While the Atelier curriculum is structured, I like the fact that students follow their own interests. I began drawing from plaster casts with Ryan. When it became evident to me that I’d only make progress by knowing what’s under the skin, I did anatomy with Scott. Meanwhile, other students were painting and that looked like a lot of fun, so I moved on to oil painting with Nick. An exhibition at RQAS in 2012, of work by teachers and students, provided an opportunity to display and appreciate the fine work being done. Oh, and they have great parties! I’m looking forward to some tutored life-drawing in preparation for painting a nude. For me it’s a recreational activity; I do it because I enjoy it, it challenges and stretches me and I enjoy the company.

Wayne, tonight's teacher in life portrait, was really helpful in both explaining the techniques and giving me tips along the way whilst I was drawing and applying the technique. Towards of the end of the lesson I started to get the hang of it and learnt the technique.
