Reid River Rest Area
We have stayed here a few times over the yrs and it is always clean and tidy .It is suitable for large vans or cars there are lots of covered tables for stopping for a break , I have to say it is back from the highway but road noise is a problem for me (I'm a light sleeper ) but for an overnight stay it is one of the better ones .

Reid River Rest Area
A good place to stop on a long journey. While it's close to the highway it's nestled into a wooded area given some respite from the highway traffic. Has toilet facilities and covered outdoor areas to have a break.

Went to Reid River Rest Area and met Bert the Rooster. It was a pretty good facility but Bert was pretty stuck up. Also there's no drinking water.

Stayed here a few times. Good clean toilets. No dump point. No potable water and 20 or 24 hrs only. Good for caravans,campervans and general travellers

Recently upgraded.Now has wheel chair accessible WC. Whoever built the rest area seats was catering for basket ball players.Cement block seats double the height they should be.

Nice area, flushing toilets, small bins, could probably get busy in peak season but was perfect in October, there are nice mountains surrounding it and some undercover areas good to cook under in case of rain.
