Got my second service done for XC 60 costed around $800. I was disappointed about the lack of detailed cleaning across cup holders, glove box etc. as you need you shed an extra $100 for the same.I think for a brand and amount we paid, we expect at least basic cleaning to be done for the interiors.Please consider this.

In 2019, I purchased a car from the Solitaire Volvo dealership at 46-52 Glen Osmond Road, Parkside SA 5063. In August, the navigation system of my car had issues with the clock and GPS. I booked it in for fixing at the dealership service centre. However, even now, it still cannot fixed so a mechanic has proposed finding the same model car overseas, removing its centre console, and waiting for it to ship to Australia to see if it can be fixed. That is highly unsatisfactory and an even longer wait. Moreover, the repair of this centre console concerns the safety and future value of the vehicle. As a loyal customer at Solitaire for the last 15 years, this has been a deeply disappointing experience.Also, the service at your dealership is severely lacking. Calls are never returned. Upon calling five times in a day during one incident, and leaving two messages, no calls were returned. Text messages also go without reply. Furthermore, issues are dismissed after the most basic and ineffective of checks. Additionally, the lack of calls and messages reflects the neglect of promises given by your mechanics, such as promises to give updates within one day, which have never been fulfilled. The service at Solitaire Volvo has been consistently lacking, so much so as to disappoint the reputation of a global automotive group. In comparison to past services from different car brands, this has just been an abhorrent experience.

Susan has been absolutely amazing to deal with regarding getting some maintenance done on our Volvo. She was thorough, realistic and completely approachable. An absolute credit to the team at Volvo. Will defiantly be recommending anyone who needs servicing or repairs on a Volvo to go and see her at Volvo Cars Adelaide.

Today 22/07/2022, I visited Volvo Cars Adelaide with our XC40 for its annual service, and the experience was a very different one from the past.Walking into the Service Centre, there was a tall new Service Desk, so I knew exactly where to go to drop off my car keys.I was attended to very quickly by a friendly staff member who had all my details ready to go and went through a breakdown of the service to be undertaken and exactly how much the service would cost.I was informed when the car would be ready for collection and asked if I needed transport arranged. The experience was professional, organised and excellent. Awesome!I received a text message throughout the day that my car was ready to collect. Awesome!Returning at the end of the day, I was greeted by friendly, polite and professional staff who had all the information on hand to go through exactly what work was undertaken on the car. I felt like my fantastic car has been in safe hands. Awesome!I want to thank the Service Team and Volvo Cars Adelaide for the transformation that has occurred with your car service experience. From start to finish, it was fantastic.Keep it up!!!

Purchased a new XC40 from Volvo cars Adelaide in December 2021 under a corporate benefits scheme as a physiotherapist. After paying my deposit on the contract, they recinded the benefit. Their general manager insisted no contract existed and rather than own the mistake, simply asked for my bank details to provide a refund. Consumer affairs later found they had breached the law, however no action was taken to hold this behaviour to account.A really poor example of how customers and allied health professionals are valued by this company.

Scott is particularly amazing in terms of his understanding of the vehicles and his willingness to go above and beyond to help his clients. Andy and Sarah were also great to work with and I’ll be sure to tell anyone looking for a new car to visit their team first.

Called to enquire about the software update for XC60. Transferred from one person to another (all clueless) until I was promised that someone will call me back very soon. Phone call never came. Rang back the next day and asked the same question, also mentioned that none called me back the previous day, again promised a call back and even placed on the ‘priority’ list. To this day, never ever received a phone call, a simple phone call to a customer who’s obviously made an effort to get their issue resolved but received an appalling customer service.
