Customer product service FAIL FAIL FAIL!!!! I recently purchased an Arlec Remote Controlled Power Outlet Model RC210. Great Product UNTIL.... your kids destroy the remote control unit.Try obtaining another remote control unit. It would be much easier to get the CEO of QANTAS to fly basic economy class than have ARLEC try to get you another remote control unit. The thought of doing this is beyond the thinking of their marketing section executive who is probably earning well over the five figure mark by saying nah the customer can wear this and it is all too hard. The last time I buy an ARLEC product.

Highly recommend their products. Extremely high quality and products that last. I have tried their alkaline batteries, lightbulbs, lamps, power-boards, doorbells to name a few and have never been disappointed!!

Arlec are the nastiest my deceptive company I have ever had the opportunity to deal with, I don’t understand why they are still trading in Australia their products are VERY POOR Quality, their team of lying personal or Customer Service if you can call them that are trained to lie and to deceive you in any way they can. I sent multiple emails to them explaining a problem I was having with one of their sensor lights I purchased, after the tenth email and many phone calls later they said they would send me a replacement. I have been waiting for 3 months for the replacement sensor light to arrive but nothing, so I contacted Arlec again by phone talked to the manager and I get nothing but lies again, they are saying they are still testing the unit before sending it to me, so it takes ARLEC three months for them to test a sensor light Before sending it out to me, what a load lies… DON’T BUY FROM ARLEC YOU WILL REGRET IT !

Arlec exhaust fans are just fans are terrible. Bought 1 at Bunnings that made a horrible noise when starting up. I took it back and got a replacement. I plugged it in to check before installing. It made the same noise. If I turned it off the on quickly it would run in reverse. I put it in on the Saturday afternoon until I could be bothered wasting time and fuel (AGAIN) to take it back. Not even 36 hours later it is fringing and sounding like it's going to burn out. I have contacted the electrical safety commission via email to report these fire dangers for what they are. These should all be recalled in both the 200 and 250mm versions before someone suffers from a fatality. I have just read some of the positive reviews of this cheap import company. How many fake names and emails do these people make up just to make themselves sound trustworthy and selling quality products? Nearly everything they sell is junk in a nicely packaged box. Come on people. Let's let our wallets do the talking for us and choose quality over bargain priced trash. Sonny Mon I have had the same problem with their multi socket boards too. Also their heavy duty timers" that burn out faster than a standard HPM ones. More straight out of box landfill."

Ceiling not working just after 1 year.Customer support is pretty abhorent and time wasting.Update: I bought two of them, and now both of them broke down in the same manner - receiver and remote don't work.Barely after warranty. It's empirically a huge red flag to the quality of their products.

Bought a couple of Arlec ceiling fans, one was making a high pitched sound. Spoke to Yacine in the tech support department who listened to the issue, diagnosed the problem and sent out a replacement part free of charge the same day. The part fixed the problem and I bought 3 more fans. Keep up the good support and thank you Yacine.

Why are all the 5 star reviews only have 1 review under their profile?!? They are clearly FAKE where the sensor lights are a joke! I bought 3 and they keep turning on and off during the night!

Their 2400 watt double adapters from bunnings DO NOT WORK the slots ARE NOT DEEP ENOUGH on ALL OF THEM (I've bought multiple and none are designed properly)... the plugs keep popping out (= unsafe) - BAD COMPANY DO NOT BUY.

What wonderful customer service I received from Carolyn after attempting to purchase a spare part! Cannot recommend highly enough. This will make me go back to purchase an Arlec product if there is a choice.Arlec - take care of your CSO, she's worth it!

I purchased a wireless Arlec door chime DC383. Absolute rubbish!It says on the instructions that it has a 150 meter range?? I have the remote and chime sitting right next to each other and it may go once I've pressed it about 10 times! I had a HPM product previously and i got about 6 years out of it.WARNING! DO NOT PURCHASE AN ARLEC DC383 DOOR CHIME....... RUBBISH!
