NRMA Driver Training

I had Angelina as my driving instructor and she did an amazing job at teaching me and allowing me to receive a perfect score on my P’s test. Such a patient and thoughtful teacher that really calmed my nerves! Couldn’t recommend her more

Angelina was my first instructor behind the wheel and it has been one of the best instructing/coaching experiences since I had 0 experience behind the wheel.With my passing of my driving test today, I proved that I am a safe driver and that’s because Angelina taught each road rule step-by-step and giving me feedback during and after the lesson.With this procedure, I was able to understand different situations quickly and finally, mesh all my lessons together for the final test, which I passed first go!!!Thank you so much Angelina!!! Can’t appreciate such a patient and calm instructor

Angelina was an excellent instructor for my refresher lesson. She was totally professional, knowledgeable and helpful. She put me at ease, gave advice clearly and helped me to feel confident while updating me on recent changes.

When starting my very own driving journey, NRMA Driving helped me a lot! I am now on my Green P’s and have been driving safely and am aware of my surroundings! I also made great connections with my driving instructor, Angelina! The safe driving course is great as well. You gain 20hrs into your logbook and you get more knowledge of how to be safe on the road! I would 100% this to anyone who has just started out on their journey of driving! It will benefit you in the future! :)

I’m first time learner. I have the best instructor-teacher. Her name is Angelina Ruth Giessmann.Although I do feel a bit nervous but thanks to Angela I overcome my fear and anxiety of driving. Angela is very trough and she isn’t afraid to get from the car and point on the road ( mind you, not on busy road) at what to aim for to make correct and safe turn to the left and to the right. Angela is also very calm and always explains my mistakes and why I made them.

My driving experience with NRMA was everything I could have hoped for. I honestly couldn't imagine sharing my learner experience with any other driving trainer provider and instructor. Angelina Geissman helped me so much, and there aren't enough positive things I could share about her. The lessons she taught me were so informative, and invaluable. She was not only supportive in a way that made me feel encouraged and safe, but emotionally she was very intuitive, caring and understanding. With my Mum's ongoing recovery journey with cancer, she was very empathic to my personal situation and she knew that there was an eagerness and urgency for me to gain my P1 license. She made me feel comfortable in an environment that felt nurturing and reassuring. Durring the times my anxiety would get the best of me, she would also be there for me without judgement, patience, a soothing hug when I needed the comforting and lavender oil to calm my nerves. Her lessons quickly became the best part of my day, and I always looked forward to them!! I also really enjoyed the conversation and light-hearted jokes when I needed the cheering up. It was her gentle, soft and her overall good-natured heart that has left a lasting impact on me, every time I get behind the wheel. Her compassion for her job and her students is something I will always hold close to my heart. I really appreciate that her teaching methods were also flexible and adaptable. When something wasn't working for me, she would find another way to explain it so that I could fully comprehend the lesson, ensuring I was gaining the full benefits of each booking. Their were times where she gave me demonstrations, and guidance which also helped to build up my confidence. She made the car rides fun, and gave me the confidence to become a knowledgable, better and safer driver! On the actual day of my examination, I remember being more nervous than I ever had before. But I will always be greatful that I booked in my license test with her, because we had a re-fresher lesson beforehand which eased the pressure. I passed my test first go, no less than a perfect score. It was so nice to have her be my side to celebrate in my victory!!! I was so happy and proud of myself, I couldn't stop crying all day. I remember telling her that I have never felt as elated as I did on that day. Even now as a driver on my P1 license, she offers me ongoing support to answer any questions I might have while I continue to grow and learn as an independent driver. She is an absolute asset to NRMA, and any student that is lucky enough to learn with her, is sure to have a positive experience just as I have. I will never be able to fully express the gratitude I have for all that she has taught me, so that I can now proudly say I am an independent driver. My sister will also be booking in lessons with NRMA, because of her!!

I am updating my original 1 star review after NRMA Driver Training reached out to reschedule my daughters appointment. She found the instructor to be very professional and felt comfortable talking to him during the lesson. We had tried quite a few different driving schools but most seemed to operate just to get the learner to know how to pass the test and that's it. I am glad to see that NRMA is teaching my daughter not just to pass but to drive safely and confidently. I would recommend especially to parents who worry about their kids driving.
