Amazing views, easy free parking

Lookout located right next to the main road. Parking for long vehicles too. Busy spot at sunset. A little inhibited by tress but still amazing views.

The high view from Lakes Entrance Lookout was absolutely gorgeous. Nice photos from the lookout for whole lakes entrance. The esplanade in lakes entrance also a nice place to have a walk during the day or arvo. Across the foot bridge access to hiking track to the flagstaff lookout will definitely a good choice to do it around sunset . But make sure you get yourself enough time to walk back to the footbridge or bring yourself a torch. There will be no light in the bush if you walk back after sunset. There will be a Ferris wheel close to the foot bridge at night time and nice photos can be taken there. Lots of jetty around can have fun fishing with kids . One thing need to be aware most of the restaurant will be closed at 8-830pm . Boat Hire will not be operate during windy day for safety issue , so make sure you check the weather forecast when planning your journey if you want hire a boat with kids or family . Lakes Entrance i just a nice and fun place for your family holiday . We will definitely go back next summer .

Great views from this lookout. Well worth the stop to check out the views. On a nice day you can see the oil drilling platforms on the horizon. It's a shame the removed the Compass when they renovated the lookout ?

Must go on a pleasant day for a great beach and aqua park experience. The beaches are very clean, laid back town far away from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne. Plan to stay for at least 3-4 days to bask in the lap of nature. Hire a boat! Catch a crab! Go for a walk! Get soaked!

very unique place for new adventures

They changed this since I was last here, and now the trees are in the way of what you would want to see most, the entrance to the lakes. But overgrown trees block that side.Other than that, it is a nice spot.

Very interesting to see the whole lake entrance from the top view. It would be better if we go on a sunny day. There is good parking area right in front of the lookout.
