Hedlow Retreat
You don't usually write a review until you have stayed and left the property but I don't need to wait 3 days. What a stunning place. We are staying in cabin 1 right on the creek. There is everything we need for a self catering stay. Even mozzie spirals in the cupboard. And we expect to see a few of those being next to the creek.Check in was fast and very helpful.The cabin is spotless.First thing was a dip in the creek. Water warmer than the sea at Hervey Bay. Canoes out tomorrow.We ore ordered the dinner and breakfast BBQ packs and they are well worth the money. I will be posting a review on trip advisor and putting photos on.Love it.

Hedlow Retreat
At Henderson Park their animals such as their cat, dogs, cattle, calfs, ponies, horses and chickens were very friendly.Also there rooms are amazing.And the owners are very helpful and kind, and will help you if have a question about there farm, animals and local area.The children are really nice and will also tell you about their animals and the farm.

One of the best places to chill unwind and just relax Ryan and Nicki are some of the most beautiful people you will meet. It may not be your typical 5 star resort but it's got character and charm in bucket loads.

We were on a day bus tour which unfortunately did not stay overnight as all the accommodation options seemed fantastic. For a farmstay it would be ideal as there is plenty going on, or room to enjoy some country tranquility. The hosts/guides were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Attended a wedding there 17/08/19. Never been there before stayed in the Main area where there was a very nice kitchen with all you could need. The 2 kitchens all with separate fridges.The cabins are lovely too with own fireplaces and far enough away from the others.Heaps of stuff to do walks, animals, canoes, water was too cool for me

Absolutely beautiful. the cabins are gorgeous, comfortable, clean and cosy and offers plenty of space between cabins for privacy and to give the feel of seclusion. the location is stunning and tranquil but close to town if needed. the owners are warm and welcoming and very helpful. Perfect place to do nothing and relax and there are activities on offer. Everything is taken care of and well thought out cant fault anything at all, perfection.

Cozy cabin, wonderful wildlife and Authentic Aussie welcome. From Ireland, on our two week tour of Queensland staying at Henderson was unlike anywhere else! Why stay in Rocky when just outside in beautiful countryside is this perfect idyll with comfortable accommodation, barbecque, beautiful views, kingfishers, whistling kites, a tame pig, wild kangaroos, free use of canoes, Whats not to like! We had the pleasure of attending a wedding at this working cattle property just 30 minutes from Rockhampton. The setting is alongside the beautiful Headlow Creek and if you are a keen photographer, you simply must relax in your deck chair waiting for the perfect opportunity to capture the end of the day, it is truly stunning. There are single cabins available as well as an ultra modern main building which has 4 rooms , all self contained and offering the option for families to indulge in a relaxing yet fun filled holiday. You certainly feel like you are in another place and time. This is a perfect spot for the laid back adventure.

We had our wedding out at Henderson Park in June and we couldn't be happier with the service we received from Nikki and the team. From our very first meeting with Nikki she was amazing with communication. Then, on the weekend of our wedding the set up, service and pack up could not of ran any smoother thanks to the teams professionalism and excellent support. The venue is amazing with breathtaking scenery, excellent accomodation and amazing facilities. Thank you so much!
