Breadtop Casuarina

This rating is for the Gateway store! Love going in there, the food looks and tastes amazing. All different sorts of goodies to try. It gets very cramped inside the store but if you know what you’re getting then it’s just in and out.

Very bad service. The tall Asian looking girl is very rude and does not know how to talk to customers. I wouldn't even give 1 star if there was an option.Whoever the manager is, please train this girl about customer service skills if you want to save your business.

Great bread, suited mostly to oriental tastes. Others might think of it as dessert bread.Quality is good and bread fluffy but has texture and good mouthfeel. Recommend the sugar donuts (twisted ones) and pork floss bun with seaweed.Only downside is... its 20-30% more expensive compared to other stores in Australia (but that's expected for Darwin prices)

I always bought lovely birthday cakes from Breadtop casuarina. However, it change my perceptions towards this shop after today. I bought a cake from here, the receptionist a short, chubby girl with glasses response rudely and with no smile and no thank you to me. I asked her whether I can talk to her in Chinese, she said yes but later reply with no respect with me at all!!! She thought I'm new to here and doesn't know how to speak in English....Anyway, a bad services from your staff will definitely affect the business

Really bad service. We ordered a cake a week ago and paid for the cake in advance. The day we were about to pick it up, they called that they didn’t make it. They didn’t even say sorry about that.

Bought the cake for my birthday today, but the lady in the counter is a bit rude... She ask me if I want the birthday writing on the cake then I said no, after paying for the cake I ask her if she has the happy birthday topper" instead of the writing and she reiterate it with a bit loud voice saying "thats why I ask you for the writing on the cake for $3" Im a bit disappointed hearing it."

Bought a birthday cake on 01/03/2022 for my wife birthday at Casuarina breadtop. Unfortunately a cake has expired date on the same day and the counter lady didn’t mentioned it with me when I bought it. Because of that cake my wife, my 14 months year old son and I had diarrhea for four days. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy any cakes from there.

Cakes are pretty good. But the waitress service is bad. A tall Asian girl looks emotionless , no greeting , no thank you.

We have always enjoyed bread top and today we went in to purchase some items and my husband asked about the card the previous customer had used. The cashier mentioned it was a rewards card and then went to get a card from under the counter as she was doing this a voice from behind started yelling at her in their language - we were shocked as to how loud the lady was yelling. The cashier then proceeded to tell us they no longer have the rewards cards.. after this the cashier become rude and not friendly! We will never be purchasing from here again and will be sharing this terrible experience.
