Really great place, they care very much for animals

This business is fantastic. Great staff, wonderful volunteers, great at looking after both homeless dogs and boarding dogs.

My partner and I applied for a puppy here a little over a week now. Within an hour we heard back saying our application had been approved already. Great friendly staff and well maintained grounds. Cannot wait to pick up our new puppy in a few weeks.

The animals are cared for extremely well. Thorough vet checks are done on all animals, pre screening is done on potential homes and animals are reasonably priced.

Helpful n friendly when we picked up our friends dog

Our little Harry had his first stay with Maryborough Animal Refuge this Christmas long weekend and I can't speak highly enough of the service we received from the staff. The kennels are very clean and tidy and Harry didn't smell like a dead cat when we turned up a day early to collect him (unlike a previous local pet park experience) . The staff member who collected Harry for us even knew how much food he had left, so to me that means he had a definite interest in his welfare which is a huge thumbs up from us. Thankyou to all the staff who cared for our Harry during his stay. We won't be going anywhere else except Maryborough Animal Refuge for future stays.

We would definitely recommend Maryborough Animal Refuge for boarding. Our dog spent the week here while we went to K’gari. They do supply food, but allowed us to provide his own, and let him have his own bedding and toy as well. Not only that they actually asked about his normal feeding schedule! It’s the little things like this that make all the difference when you are stressed about leaving your animal behind. Thanks again.

I recently adopted a beautiful cat from this refuge. She was well looked after in the time she was there.. She settled in as soon as I welcomed her to my home. The staff were very helpful and took her to a vet on my behalf for a necessary test. Note: best to ring the refuge to see what animals are available as their website advised no cats, however there were 6 when I called and went in the next day.
