This was my first time here and I’ll definitely be back.Jenn is super sweet and made me feel incredibly comfortable, in fact I felt like I’d known her for years within the first 10mins!I’m so happy with my cut, she recommended how much I should have cut off but didn’t make me feel pressured to have that much off considering I’m trying to grow my hair out.Jenn is super sweet and fantastic at her craft, do yourself a favour and make a booking here!!!

I just got my hair dyed in this salon. The service is professional, I love my hair!! The stylist was very friendly, and she also recommended some products to maintain my hair color. The salon is relaxed and welcoming, very recommended for an excellent hair service. Thank you Etincelle, I will definitely be coming back <3

I had the best time at ÉTINCELLE. My hair was so damaged from heat and bleaching - the lovely owner of the business Jennifer was just amazing. She had genuinely helped save my hair. A few weeks on and using the products she recommended my hair hasn’t looked this healthy for a really long time. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this salon!

Great haircut. Jennifer understood how to make my fine hair seem thicker. I am still very happy with it. She coloured it first and that itself was the faster colour treatment I have had with a great outcome . Her products compliment her haircuts. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this hair salon. I had a very bad experience while getting my hair done. I asked for a long appointment while contacting the salon as I have a lot of hair and foil work takes 1.5hours to do and my hair is quit dark so takes a while to process. When I got there, I was 5minutes late (completely my fault) and the hair dresser stated that she only had 2 hours (even though in my message I asked for a long appointment which she had confirmed). She kept stating my hair wouldn’t take that long and why I thought I needed a long appointment. I explained as per the above and also added that I have been to 5 different salons and they all take this long. I was a bit disappointed that it was only a short appointment (I was also travelling interstate so had no time to rebook). I thought I would give her a go and see what happens. I also stated to her my previous hairdresser didn’t put many foils at the back, so maybe for her to skip this and focus on the front and bottom sections only. She foiled my hair and toned it, etc. she also blow dried my hair. While she was blow drying I didn’t love the colour but said to her it’s not bad but I definitely needed a longer appointment. It was dark when I left. The next day, looking at the colour I really didn’t like it. It was very brassy and not at all the colour I showed her (I showed her a picture of my hair freshly coloured as reference for the colour I wanted) or what my previous hair dresser had done (my previous hair dresser retired). I believe it was less than a week later, I contacted the owner and let her know I was really unhappy, I sent her pictures of my hair, there were patches missing, bright yellow sectioned which weren’t toned. I ended up going to another salon interstate to get my hair fixed. They were horrified at the work done and stated that I should be getting a refund. A year later still no refund and no response to my message. Very disappointing. I love supporting local businesses, it was more so disappointing that there was no care, no response. She could have offered something at the very least.

Beyond thrilled with my experience today. Jennifer did a fantastic job with my colour, it is the exact shade of blonde I wanted. I also wanted quite a style change and Jennifer was so knowledgeable and helpful, discussing different options and advising on the best cut to suit my face and I love the result! On top of all of that Jennifer is one of the warmest and loveliest people you could ever hope to meet and the salon is just gorgeous. Could not recommend more highly!

My overall experience at etincelle hair studio was amazing.Jennifer is a great cutter and she is the queen of colour. She is very knowledgeable and creative with her colours. She is on-trend with the latest hairstyles and balayage colouring technique. Always looking forward to my next service and pampering.

First visit and I was very impressed. Jen's attention to detail with colour and bubbly, welcoming manner was exceptional. I'll definitely be back!

Booked on a whim when travelling to Melbourne and admittedly on arrival I had some reservations, but those didn't take long to alleviate and now Jennifer 'is' my regular hair dresser, even though I have to travel interstate to see her! Not only a lovely, welcoming and warm person, but she clearly has deep knowledge and experience and uses that to ensure the style and colour is right for me (not just a cookie cutter flavour of the month experienced where everyone walks out looking the same, whether it suits them or not. Which seems to be a trend inthe fancy salons). So glad I made this unexpected find!

Jenn was incredible she heard my hair vision and knew exactly what to do! I love the energy she brings to her salon and made me feel super comfortable as soon as I got there, I couldn’t recommend her more honestly.
