The picnic tables aren't great but the Great (Big) Gorge walk which begins at the reserve was lovely. As someone with Rheumatoid Arthritis, who requires a walking stick, it was not too difficult but I had to give up at the ruins as the walk was too long for me. It is beautiful scenery and the trees were amazing along the way. It would be good if they could add one or more extra seats. The current one is too close to the start. Perhaps if they added one at the ruins that would be good.

Really pleasant easy walk. Not busy at all (although it is after a long weekend). Nice remnant vegetation with some huge old gum trees. Wild deer and a reasonable selection of birds seen even for a windy winters day.
