Great opening at Burgerhood. Hood burger and milo shake are delicious. I’m not a big fan of shoestring fries but these are nice, more salt and herbs would be my preference.Workers looked after the big line outside in the sun with ice cream for kids and water for all.I’ll be back to try to Bloody Mary burger.

Excellent service and covid-safe. The beef burger are average, while the beef patties are plump, they lack that certain flavour punch other burger joints provide. Their fish burger is a actually pretty decent though.

Burgers were undercooked, not medium rare, or rare, just not cooked through properly.Cleaning supplies kept out in the open dining area didn't give a great atmosphere

Just stopped in for a takeaway burger for lunch and asked for it without sauce…the lady serving repeated that back to me so i thought we’d be all good. Yet here i am sitting at home with my burger swimming in sauce. Not enough time left in the lunchbreak to take it back so that will be the last time i visit. Plenty of burger options around. Literally only had one thing to do and failed at it.

Good food and very substantial portions. Can't go past the veggie burger and the peanut butter milkshake (although I couldn't finish it because it was so rich). Good location with plenty of outdoor seating. Staff are nice and very kid friendly

Great burgers at very reasonable prices ($9-$12). Kids burgers at $5. Fish burger was delicious, as was the hood burger. Fries were a generous serving size. Credit card surcharge of 1.5% and the soft serve machine was broken. Good for groups, friendly service. Will be back!

Eaten here before but things seem to be coming undone. We were the first or second customers to order today(lunch) and although the wait was not unacceptable it took 20 minutes to make two burgers and fries.Felt awkward eating in as there was not ambient music and half the seating area was cluttered with what seemed to be Christmas decor and food prep supplies. Burgers and the fries also did not meet the expectations that the photos show in other reviews, (different bread and fries were cooked in warm oil)Hoping for a return to Sydney's best burger as per broadsheet.

The best burger I've had in a really long time. The beef patties are ground in-house using high quality beef. The loaded fries were absolutely to die for. It's got a great old school milk-bar atmosphere, I won't order a burger anywhere else.

Waited 25m for a burger and fries.Despite only a couple of uber collections there were no other customers...!??Chick at counter had music blaring so you could not hear each other.Paid $20 for a burger which is clearly not cooked and fries that must have been sitting waiting for the burgers to get cooked because they were cold!!!Absolutely abismal and i cant understand it as there were 3 people out the back. Perhaps regular line of people to side door was distracting them from their job thats why they couldnt manage to cook a patty or fresh fries...???
