All the food we order is awesome . The scotch fillet steak is awesome , also the calamari must order . The chips so crunchy

Had a very enjoyable brunch. Cup was warm for my cup of tea, so no cold tea! Meal was cooked to perfection. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Gorgeous view was able to sit without getting moved on. I will definitely go back.

2 stars (instead of 1) because of the view, sweet little cottage dwelling and friendly service.Unfortunately, the food was horrible. Eggs overdone, bacon burnt around the edges, couldn’t tell if the Turkish bread was toasted or just slightly stale.If you’re after a coffee, a cake and a nice view then head along. The actual menu is lacking and would go a long way if some extra side options (avocado, tomato, mushrooms, spinach perhaps - all easy to get in country Vic) were available, without having to purchase a full “Garden Breakfast” which has zucchini and other bits that are a bit left of field that you’re likely not keen on for breakfast.A cafe with plenty of untapped potential.Edit to respond to owner: sorry, but where on your menu does it state those sides? I only see it mentions bacon, which we ordered.We didn’t have time to ask for the meal to be re-made and cooked again, we were travelling through. Thanks for taking the time to respond, but it was unfortunately not a great experience.

Recently had a function here and were extremely happy. The food was excellent & special dietary requirements were easily catered for. Penni really knows her stuff & nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Lakeside views. Natural feel. Fabulous space. A great place to come for lunch, brunch or breaky. Great do two or for the whole family. I truly love the mix of staff and how accomodating and welcoming they are. I can honestly say the food was all amazing. Took my mum here and they where amazing helping her as she is in a wheelchair. Truly recommend. Enjoy xxxxx

Wow! We used to live in Colac (2003) & there was nowhere great to get brunch. Well this weekend we weren't disappointed. A lovely property, a relaxed comfortable vibe and such lovely staff. All very welcoming!! And our food was delicious, pulled beef in a taco bowl? Genius. I added eggs to my smashed avo & fetta toast. Yum! (Just need more signage as people don't know where to enter the property, we accidentally came in the back!)

Ordered a flathead fillet and a chicken wrap, chai and tea. The food is ok, service is good. Atmosphere of a restuarant around the lake is of course nice.

I had the grilled chicken burger.My favourite part was the coleslaw and dressing, it was delicious.The view of the lake is slightly blocked by trees but you can still enjoy a large portion while eatingCome check it out
