I had an extremely bad experience with the manager, Lenore, who was very rude, unprofessional & lied to cover up what she'd done & supposedly said. She was to alter the sheer jacket of my Mother of the Bride outfit, to be completed in a week. However, after 2 weeks it wasn't even started.After leaving it another week, I was totally dissatisfied with the end result. There was a 2cm discrepancy in the bottom front edges of the jacket; the horizontal pleats were of varying widths; & the 2 front edges were finished with crooked stitching & splayed in different directions.Lenore's excuse was she thought an asymmetrical look was better! This was not her call nor was I consulted about this. She agreed to fix everything in a week but 8 days later, it was still unfinished & what she'd done thus far was totally unacceptable. Not only had she botched the job for a 2nd time, she was extremely rude & lied about what she had initially said.As I left with a ruined garment, feeling devastated, an obviously embarrassed employee, looked at me in disbelief, raised her eyebrows & shook her head.I had to give a star rating to post this review but, without wishing to tarnish the reputations of the other women working there, I definitely do not recommend Lenore, the manager. Her attitude was totally unprofessional & her workmanship appalling. Certainly not the customer service expected from a supposedly professional dressmaker.
