Have been getting my tax done through this mob for years. Apparently my tax from my employer in 2014 was dodgy. I didnt know. Last November I received a letter from tax dept telling me that I have a debt. I am a cleaner and cannot understand how this could have happened to me. I depend on my tax accountant to be on the ball and tell me. But no one did and im now unemployed as cannot repay the debt which increasing every day. I will try to find someone else to do my tax from now on. Sad because this was convenient for me and I have been using this agency for years. Can anyone tell me who can do my tax from now on. My confidence with H & R Block has been shattered

Absolutely hopeless! I will never submit a tax return through H&R Block again. They've made over a dozen mistakes on my tax return and they make very little effort to thoroughly review the documentation that they have been provided with.I thought I would use H&R Block as my tax return was quite complex this year, but clearly I was better off doing it myself because it would have been correct the first time.

I could pretty much cut and paste one of the other reviews. I had an appointment with Alison booked for 2:45pm, I arrived on time and was asked to sit in the waiting area. At 3:00pm I was told she would be another 5 minutes, by 3:07 I still hadn't had any further information and decided I was better off just leaving. With travel and waiting, that's an hour wasted, it's incredibly unprofessional. Sure people run late, but if you're 20+ minutes late on an hour appointment the very least you could do is contact people to inform them. But seeing other reviews with near identical stories shows that this is an ongoing issue that has yet to be rectified.

Mary and the team have supported me for my tax return needs for over 7yrs. I have encouraged by wife to use them and she is very pleased. They have always been professional, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them.Daniel

Absolutely the worst tax place I have ever been to. So slow, no respect and no people skills from the man I had my tax done with. The “manager” or head office person who I complained to made it seem like she would take care of it but in fact just wanted me out of the office. They took my money then didn’t answer my email or calls to lodge my tax for ages! Will never go hear again, definitely do not recommend!!!

I have been dealing with H&R Block at Frankston , for over 6 years and find that they are well informed about tax matters and very helpful.I am always confident that I am maximising my tax returns, legally.I also find them to be very prompt in their responses, which gives me a lot of confidence and peace of mind.
