Taylor & Stirling (Ballarat)

Over the years we have a number of houses furnished with blinds etc from T&S but that was when they were reliable (probably owned by someone else). We asked for a quote back in Oct/Nov 2022 & just before Xmas I rang to see what was happening. I was told she had the details in front of her but they were still waiting to find out if the rails were still made. We were told no rails were required but hey I let it go. She told me they would get back to us ASAP. Still haven’t heard a word and it’s the end of April. Time to find another supplier! Do not use this mob.

Ordered in Feb. & advised 8-10 weeks but completed 10 mths later. Extremely poor customer service. We had to phone, email & go to the store several times to follow-up.

Excellent service in repairing our caravan blinds very happy with quality of blinds. This is the second time as all our original blinds in our Nova caravan were starting to fall apart. We are in NSW and the turnaround in each occasion was very fast. Like to thank Maree and all the staff for helping us out.

Marie from T&S came to our house on 19/7 to discuss the project. I heard nothing so I called on 29/7. She assured me I would get a quote on 1/8. I got nothing so I called again on the morning of 2/8. She apologized and said I'd definitely get it in the afternoon. I heard nothing. I called on 3/8 to tell her not to bother. Not exactly the sort of service I was looking for. Going elsewhere.Regarding Marie's responses:- She says she emailed me but I received nothing - not in my inbox not in my junk folder. If she can explain that, I'd be grateful.- As for the samples which Marie offered to leave me, she's simply not telling the truth. I didn't want to keep them, but Marie, after providing no service and essentially doing nothing about our project, thought it was reasonable to ask me to take them back to her, 40 minutes away in Ballarat, or waste my time packaging them up and taking them to the post office to mail to her. I told her that she was welcome to come pick them up anytime but I was not going to waste any more time than she had wasted already.It took her two weeks to come and get them so other people not being able to see them didn't really seem to worry her all that much. So the defamatory statement asserting that I was basically stealing her samples is pure humbug, consistent with the the rest of her discreditable narrative.

Very friendly and helpful

Poor quality products with sub-par installation and average communication. Our blinds are all frayed, they do not cover the window appropriately and have some parts missing. Company was contacted straight away during business hours, only to receive a rude text msg after 8pm advising they would not be fixing the blinds. We have had another company complete the rest of our blinds and were appalled at the installation and product. They advised us this is not the first time they have had to rectify this companies work. There are enough blind companies in Ballarat that you do not need to waste your time or money with Taylor & Stirling.

Really helped out when asked to do a rush repair job on our caravan's blinds before a trip away. The old blinds were disintegrating and Sara and Marie made sure the replacement material was available and then were able to turn around the job in under a week... got us right of troubleThanks
