Coles Forestville

This is a handy close-ish store for those things that woolies doesn’t stock,but the chance of finding the items and or help to find these items that are logged as,in stock, and available on the ‘oh so’ helpful Coles app are remote .Sadly this will be my last visit hereBye bye

Out dated store, stocking out of date fresh fruit and vegetables at full price. Though a well stocked store. The staff are mostly friendly but the register staff don't pack groceries well.

Luv going visiting in Australia, what a great store this is luv Coles ,and what a great choice off good foods for a change ,fruit was absolutely delicious, .. just everything about this store Iuv ..❤❤❤

I shop there because it’s close to home not because of any quality. Issues include : unstocked shelves especially fruit and veg ; appalling lack of freshness - last shop alone I had a punnet of raspberries where most of packet was badly moulded, plus snapper at $34 per kg which smelt awful. Most of their seafood is “thawed for your convenience.” Ha ha —or else from SE Asia. Their packets of frozen seafood are more expensive than fresh! Staff are mediocre. They don’t know what many items are and can’t find them . They have only TWO proper checkouts so they can force you into the self service area. I detest this. They do not open up another cash register, even when there are long queues. During the height of Covid they allowed staff to work without masks which I complained about. So much for customer or staff safety. Given that it has limited product availability, poor quality fruit and vegs , poorly trained staff and little customer service I would suggest if you can, find SOMEWHERE ELSE.

The only problem is that it encourages self checkout and there are too few checkout personnel. The only real complaint is the lift down to the car park. It is old and creaky and sounds like it will break down at any moment. It needs a good overhaul or replacement. The lift is now out, so maybe it will be replaced????

good people, kind service & always at least TWO REAL Check-out people on deck to SERVE! I REFUSE to shop if I'm pushed into the automated machines... In Other Stores, I've simply left my full cart and shopped elsewhere... I'd prefer to pay a wee bit more, save real people jobs, and NOT use a machine for the sake of profits and stock-holders.

Rude staff at checkout. Never seen this same woman smile or being helpful. Treated me like it’s my fault when I told her an item wouldn’t scan or the weight of an item couldn’t be picked up properly and I needed her help. Rolling eyes and all that questioning of what I did is like you might as well tell your customers to leave.Limited ranges as well for a big store this size.Coles you need to look into this store.
