Karate Jitsu
Karate Jitsu has been an outstanding learning experience for both of my young daughters. The classes are run in a professional and accessible way that allows all participants to gain confidence in themselves whilst also respecting the space and rights of others. The focus on peer instruction is particularly impressive. It truly is a holistic approach developing individuals. I would recommend these classes very highly!

The head trainer for Karate Jitsu came highly recommended. Peter Koegst has a warm and approachable style with young people, delivering practical martial-arts skills with wisdom and humour.As a psychologist and parent, I recognise the importance of helping young people develop strong bodies and minds. Under the guidance of Karate Jitsu's great staff, my young girls are confidently learning how to manage their bodies, safety and wellbeing. The environment is one of achievement, recognition, fun and fitness. Highly recommended.

We are so happy with ASDMA. Our son not only learns about self defence, their patient instructors have taught him respect and discipline. His training has improved his mental and physical strength which has also had a positive impact at school and home.

Absolute brilliant instructors. So happy seeing my young son enjoy karate. He loves it. So glad he joined. Looking forward in seeing a different colour belt around his waist. Great work instructors. You guys are simply the best.

Joining Karate Jitsu ASDMA has been one of the best decisions of my adult life. I have found a hobby that has become my passion! This club is an exceptionally run, well organised and totally inclusive community where children, students and adults learn and develop skills and helpful strategies for life in general.Thank you Kyoshi Peter and the team, I can't praise you enough. 5 stars and my highest recommendation.

By attending Karate Jitsu my child has gained invaluable skills and knowledge, that will assist her though out her life. She is more mindful, focused and respectful. She is able to defend herself if need be, and has more self awareness. The leadership is outstanding, and the atmosphere is amazing. The children are treated with the upmost respect, and respond well by being aware of their expected behaviour. I could not speak highly enough of this Martial Arts class. And how Peter remembers each child's name is beyond me!

Teaching anything requires two skill sets - knowledge of your subject and the personality and style to impart your knowledge in a way that people enjoy their learning. Peter has both attributes in spades - his style of teaching and manner with kids is superb. Can't recommend Peter and his team highly enough. Fantastic.

Wonderful teachers, wonderful students. The sensei's and students really provide a space which is encouraging and challenging. As a beginner myself, I came to the club a little nervous and I was instantly welcomed by all. I have learned so much since beginning, and I look forward to learning more and more. I feel very empowered knowing that if a situation arises where I need to protect myself or others, I have learned simple but effective techniques which can disable an attacker and help myself to get out of the situation. Highly recommend karate jitsu!!

My child had been attending Karate Jitsu for 6 years and I cannot recommend this program highly enough. Karate Jitsu enhances core values of respect, compassion, discipline, control and empathy. Physical fitness and self defence are combined with these values to make an outstanding program that will benefit the children as they grow. Shihan (Peter), is a dedicated teacher whom I believe has made a postive impact in my child’s life.

Excellent family club. They have twice adapted their class plan, to assist my son to learn skills against school bullies. Kind hearted group of instructors. Compassionate, supportive, Empathetic & focused on raising up my sons confidence. Highly recommend.
