The produce is always fresh, well priced and exceptional quality. But it's really the service that sets them apart. They couldn't be more helpful and accommodating.

Cant fault the place. Been there daily for years. We are a meat family (especially the dogs), and Mark, Ami, Barb, Donna et al are a genuine down to earth sweet bunch. Always a smile, always quick to serve. A fabulous hard working team with top notch meat and smallgoods. Thanks for everything guys. X

I bought diced beef from here and the meat is definitely not fresh. They've probably mixed old meat with fresh cuts, with the majority of pieces being old. The staff was very friendly though; so giving 2 stars instead of 1.

I have never been to a butcher so consistent in quality!!I shop here regularly for my family and sometimes 2-3 times a week. Each time treated kindly, and promptly, even when it's busy these guys are quick and efficient.I've never purchased anything I've been unhappy with. Any questions I've had have been answered with genuine care.Fresh food corner is one of, if not the best butcher in Melbourne.Exceptional quality and service.

Really disappointed with the quality. Got 6 pieces of beef yesterday and 4 of them were old meat. Some parts had turned brown and smelt bad.

i am actually a vegetarian, but my cat is very sick and incredibly picky about his food. the service here was really impressive, as the man helping me was very patient with me getting 100g of several different minces, and like one chunk each of about 6 different diced meats. the quality seems pretty good, the prices were very reasonable, and my cat actually ate for the first time in days (he was a fan of the diced lamb). excellent staff, thank you for being patient with me.

Really disappointed with the attention to detail here.I came in last week after a recommendation from a couple of friends.I asked for a couple of sausages and few Scotch fillet steaks and when I got home there was a porter house & Scotch fillet in the bag. I'm not to worried about the porterhouse normally however it was $10 cheaper a KG, and I was charged the more expensive meat.Further more my Girlfriend grabbed some salami, prosciutto & ham about 20 minutes later and was charged $30 total which I thought was a bit steep, I weighed the meat when we got home and there was 350 grams total.None of the meat she purchased was over $40 / kgI can't help but feel ripped off.

I got a couple of marinated lamb chops last week and there was little to no meat on them. Mostly fat and gristle. I tried again with the Moroccan lamb sausage rolls, when I asked if it was puff pastry was confirmed so....hesitantly. When I baked them, revealed a soggy not puff at all puff pastry. Also over hearing a conversation about not really knowing the contents of marinades, obviously not store made. Maybe some more staff training needed.
