A very low key, non assuming atmosphere. Old style cafe. Charming and very good food. Well prepared and surprisingly affordable. Clean, friendly staff, in a shopping mall.

So close contact. I felt so uncomfortable sandwiched between one conversation where person was having a big whinge about everything. The person in the other side was a noisy eater. Far too close for comfort or social distance. Ate my sandwich in a big hurry and didn’t touch my pot of tea. Food is ok service is ok. Trend mill style.

Don’t order the green matcha latte or mocha. Mocha was sour and GML was seriously just sweet milk. Redeeming factor was the biscuit on the side.

One of the worst Caesar salads I've ever had in my life. First thing first, Caesar salad comes with a boiled egg not poached or ask the customer if you want to push your own preference. Second, the dressing was not an appropriate dressing and it looked like a cat vomit. Third, if you have a sign for $14.95 you can't charge extra $2 just because it's public holiday or at least let the customer know before the payment get processed.

After mistakenly ordering at the takeaway counter and sitting down at a table, the manager approached me and asked if I had ordered and if it were takeaway or dine in, to which I replied I’d prefer to dine in.Not soon after she rudely informed me my food was boxed up at the counter for takeaway. It was obviously too difficult to put it on a plate. I certainly won’t be returning. Chicken burger was ok, the chilli sauce was nice but otherwise nothing spectacular.

A friendly cafe that is obviously a local favourite: the lively waitresses greet most patrons by name and seem to be a genuine part of their lives. The food itself isn't spectacular - the menu relies heavily on time-tested classics (e.g. beef burger, chicken parmigiana, basic pastas of the day, nicoise salad), executed with homeliness rather than innovation in mind. To be honest, the prices are a bit steep for the average quality of food, but you can't find better in this shopping centre anyway. Sometimes, you just feel like a basic no-fuss meal, so if that mood strikes and you're in the area, Cafe Mia will do.
