Tamex Transport Brisbane

Good service

Totally disappointed , I was using Tamex Transport for a number of years from when they were in Musgrave Rd at Coopers plains. I moved to the Northside of Brisbane and thought that they would not service the area. I found that they did so I booked a pickup with them. When they arrived to collect the freight I was told that because my warehouse was at the rear of my residential property they would no longer pick up any freight. Disappointed in freight companies who discriminate.Regarding the response from the owner of Tamex Transport to my previous review. I totally reject his explanation.Yesterday 26/10/2022 I endeavoured to get a pickup which was to be charged to my customers account. My customer is in northern NSW and I would suggest would be a reasonable account of Tamex Transport. I explained the situation to the phone operator who went to check with someone. He then told me NO, we will not pick up from your site. I did tell him that I consider this discrimination and that I would now use FedEx because they have no issue picking up from me. All of my product is agricultural pumps and fittings. By Tamex Transport saying they will not pick up from a warehouse attached to a residential property , does this mean they will not deliver to a farm. A farm is a attached to a residential property. Unfortunately I cannot ever use Tamex Transport again and I hope other users are concerned by their policies. They accepted my business gladly when they were small and just starting off, but now that they think they are big and small business doesn't count for anything.

By all accounts a good service. They try to fix problems fast and are very accessible for communication.
