About the Business
Paluma Range National Park | Parks and forests | Department of Environment and Science, Queensland | Paluma Range National Park, the southern gateway for the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, is comprised of two sections. The northern section features Jourama Falls—a picturesque waterfall framed by rainforest. To the south, rainforest-cloaked Mount Spec rises nearly 1000m above the Big Crystal Creek floodplain. Both areas offer a range of recreational opportunities.

Paluma Range National Park
We went for a drive to Big Crystal Creek and stopped in at the water hole. it was a lovely spot with plenty of parking and grounds for people to set a picnic up on with only a 100 meter walk to the waterhole. there were toilet amenities to use. getting to the water hole is a bitumen path and then you need to be able to walk over the rocks. ☆ downside is, id say not suitable access to the water for those that fall eaisly or need walking aides. This was a very popular spot for people to come and many were families and young adults. there is a NO GLASS" Rule which makes sense..CAMPING Yes you can camp about 200meters back down the road there were a few spots and not busy for the 2nd week ofjan.BONUS- If you can spare a moment drop in at the home local produce on the side of the road
