Hair Salon Asquith Platinum Hair By Belle

1 star review due to the owners after care service & lack of ownership with a human error they made.Being a new client, on my first visit I was happy to be guided by a staff member on how to manage my appointments going forward to keep my hair in good condition.I was happy with results when I walked out. Following her instructions I booked for a second appointment with the same treatment. Cut colour mouse treatment blow dry styling.Second appointment, when I arrived, they had forgotten to book in my cut & mousse treatment. I was surprised it wasn’t in the book as it’s what I’d been advised to do & booked in for. Given it was 5 weeks in between & apart from the fact it had been booked, 5 weeks, this is normally advised by any experienced salon to cut trim hair for its health. They wouldn’t style my hair either unless I paid $80 more than the first visit.Points are, I was made feel embarrassed at the front counter & argued with that they were right & I had made an error, in front of other clients.I walked out with wet towel dryer hair.My hair was trimmed by a different person as to who I’d booked because the the owner said I never had a booking.I had a very special occasion on this weekend that they were very aware of as well & another reason I was having my hair done.Rather than review I tried to amicably work this out professionally with the owner, I first wrote to the owner by email, to explain that I had booked for a cut colour treatment & style as per my first visit with a quote as per my fist visit that had been advised as a good stylist should do when RE booking. I had a reply back saying it wasn’t them that had made a mistake, it was me. Nor would the owner come to any fare conclusion for a new client. I was told all costs are online & prices had gone up since I’d been in. Being a new client I had only gone on the advice of her stylist. The owner would not own her mistake & wrote her wired conclusion telling me good luck finding a salon that met my expectations. Very rude, didn’t care at all & this is the owner. My only expectations was that of what I’d originally had, paid for & RE booked for. If this can not be achieved or in fact as I felt human error on there part that had occurred then wouldn’t it of been nice to own in & perhaps try & rectify it rather then argue a point saying a client is wrong. I understand people make mistakes. On this occasion it was staff.I had to go elsewhere to finish my hair as planned.Clearly they have enough clients & are to busy to encourage new ones to come back. Nor does the owner lead her staff by a good example.If you do go, get everything in writing, because the owner won’t help you.RESPONSE REPLY TO MANAGEMENT.Edited review in response to the Management team, not owner as there was no name attached.I was never strongly encouraged to review your consolation with pricing. It was my 2nd appointment. I was advised by your staff member on the 1st visit to have exactly the same for my next visit & was quoted the same price.You forgot to put my hair cut in book.I was not late.I would never expect anything for free.On no occasion did you say you were extremely disappointed to hear this. You merely said you apologised for any confusion I may have had.You did not try to rectify the situation in a harmonious way or try to work out a solution.To have to leave a salon to go elsewhere to have my hair finished is a terrible example of customer service.I understand you have 20 years experience & a reasonable rating.On this occasion the salon made an error in booking & quoting. It happens I’m sure some times. At no point did you want to own this.I have reviewed many businesses 99% of which have 4 to 5 stars. To do this on this occasion, I’d emailed you first directly to resolve the situation. Of which you kept brushing off as my problem.I think like the situation you told me about with your wall artist. That you weren’t happy with the result & wouldn’t pay balance until he fixed it. You expect good service. As do I. Take a leaf from your book & your expectations.

I have been going to Bell for 3 years now. She is amazing, I always leave feeling refreshed and with a smile on my face. Great service conversation and a gorgeous haircut/colour and blow dry. Very highly recommend this salon and any of the girls working there!

I have been going to Belle at Platinum Hair for 3 years now after switching from a large salon nearby. Belle, Sam, Elissa & Eloise have always been warm & friendly & I have always left the salon feeling wonderful. Belle does my foils along with a cut or trim & she does a beautiful job & tbh, I wouldn't leave my hair in anyone else's hands but these girls, especially Belle!

I have been going to Platinum Hair by Belle for 3 or so years now, and always leave with exceeded expectations. I moved away and still travel an hour to go here. They've taken me fully blonde and fully brunette and I have never left unhappy. They have also always taken care of my hair when doing major changes. I get my hair done by Alyssa but all the girls are talented and so lovely The new salon is also SO CUTE, which is just a nice bonus on top of the amazing hair dressers that work here.Couldn't recommend them enough :)

Absolute luxury without any pretentiousness. Down to earth people who understand the reality of everyday life, but always give an out of this world experience. I leave feeling beautiful having taken a break from the ordinary.

I only usually review/post about gluten free food joints however, this place is so dope that I had to leave a review. Platinum Hair By Belle is my absolute fave place to get my hair did. Belle is so nice and respectful as well as cray skilled that my partner and I don't go anywhere else for hair cuts. We have raved about her so much to fam and friends that a bunch of them are now her clients. Belle makes you feel comfortable as soon as you enter her salon, which is beautiful - those massive mirrors and comfy chairs - L.O.V.E. Do yourself a favour and head on over: Belle and her team are such lovely people that it's always a mega treat going there.

First time using this salon today and I would highly recommend! All the staff were lovely but Hayley in particular was very welcoming and make sure she asked lots of questions to really understand what I wanted. The end result was perfect!

I was extremely happy with my experience at belle. The staff are so friendly and really accommodating to all needs. I really recommend this place. Book early as they are very busy.

I was thrilled when told by someone in Hornsby on Friday “your hair looks fabulous”. Thank you Sam. It made my day.I have been coming to the salon for about 10 years and enjoy the friendly, pleasant atmosphere and the great haircuts!
