After trying numerous places in Hervey Bay to track down a Toyota Rukus transponder as a spare without any success, I was fortunate to stumble upon Michael in Bundaberg who was confident he'd be able to help me. After Michael received what he was advised would more than likely do the trick, I took a drive to Bundy so Michael could program it. Sadly, it was a 'no go' which didn't really surprise me after all the Googling I'd done about it. Thankfully this little setback didn't dampen Michael's resolve to help me. Within a week Michael contacted me to say the new one had arrived. Today I headed back to Bundy (even though I wasn't feeling confident it would work). Within 15 to 20 minutes, Michael had it programmed and a new key cut and I am thrilled to bits to report that it works like a charm and at half the price I was quoted by the dealer.
