Just disappointing, so to start off with we asked for chicken salt not only did we not get chicken salt we got barely any plain salt, the potato cakes and chips themselves where soggy and disgusting and we found a few hairs mixed in (how can a chip be disgusting!), moving on to the flakes the batter was falling off because of how undercooked and soggy it was, the flake itself was not even mediocre like some freezer aged fish, the dim sims we got were fried if you can even call what we got fried, it had the texture of a steamed dim sim with the strong taste of oil. The only thing that we got that was good would have had to be the burger yet it was just a plain burger. I’ll tell you we aren’t happy, and definitely won’t be returning anytime soon!

When I came into burks fish and chips the staff welcomed me with a wonderful smile. It’s so good that young people can be so nice and amazing. The chips were crispy and a perfect amount of chicken salt. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Decided to give Burkes another try after many years because I was assured they can do gluten free for a coeliac.They were specifically told to please keep everything GF separate. Picked up the order and when we got home everything was put together and the grilled fish was coated in flour and crumbs. So nothing ended up GF.To top it off I was charged an extra $10 on the order.Please don’t say you can do something when you can’t especially if it affects a persons health. I won’t be going back.
