Marli Rose Hairdressing Glebe

I had my hair balyaged and cut on Tuesday and as you can see from the picture taken the following morning, I was left with patchy, streaky over processed hair which looked incredibly dry. I had my hair redone at another salon the following day and they managed to fix it. I have spoken to the manager about refunding the colour portion of my service but was offered credit which is useless as I wouldn't want to go back to the same salon that left my hair in that state.

Beautiful salon, been here a few times and all the hair dressers are great. So happy to find a place to tame my curls and give them shape! Also reasonably priced and lots of care put into my cut.

Wow, marli rose is one of a kind, and I couldn’t recommend it more. Fab Coffee & icy cold water is expected shortly after arriving to the salon, this is a personal favourite, truly feel pampered every visit . I travel from Wollongong to Glebe every 12 weeks now to have a cut, colour, treatment and style and have seen improvements to my length and hair strength since being in this new routine. Parking is easily found just outside the salon. I have very long hair, and have worried about stylists taking too much or not following my instructions - you will NOT have to worry about these things at all, Marli has my full trust and I’ve built such a great relationship with the salon, who understand my anxiety around hair cuts and losing length. My hair is now down to my hips!! And is so luscious. If you have similar concerns, you can be assured that marli rose offer in-depth consultations and take the time to ask and answer any of your questions. I will continue to travel over 1 hour any day of the week based on the amazing experiences I continue to have time after time. I really respect the team at Marli, they’re experts, honest and welcoming ❤️

If you are looking for your forever hairdresser, this is probably it, you will love Marli Rose. The crew here are creative, professional and friendly and the space is beautiful, relaxing and unpretentious. We always have a good chat about what I want beforehand, and Sarah is so talented, I always feel confident in anything she does to my hair and that includes trying new colours and cuts. Enjoy!

I had a nice time at the salon, and the staff were very friendly, but unfortunately I was quite unhappy with my colour. I didn't have the heart to say anything at the time, and once I got home and could have a good look I realised in full how unhappy I was. I asked for a lived-in blonde, something that would grow out easily and complement my skin tone. Instead I got excessive foils at the top and it was toned badly - the blonde was very dull and flat and some portions were still extremely yellow/bronze. I'm writing this review a month later and already my regrowth looks dreadful. I have used a toner on my hair myself since, which has got rid of some of the yellowy brassiness, but it hasn't fixed (and has probably worsened) the dullness.I have fine hair and was pretty shocked when my hairdresser used the thinning scissors all over my hair. I don't need thinner hair!I really hate writing bad reviews and I know lots of people have had good experiences there. But this was my experience and sadly I won't be going back.
