Coolart Historic Homestead
This is a lovely old Homestead with some great photos of the surrounding area especially underwater photos of the diverse life found in the area. There is a wetlands which unfortunately had no water of late but there were lots of superb blue wrens skipping around. Great place for a day out take a picnic, there is a small tearooms and gift shop available.

........delightful surprise to discover Coolart Mansion Homestead a late Victorian mansion situated near the shores of Westernport, managed by Parks & Gardens Victoria, with lovely maintained grounds/garden and natural wetlands to explore.....originally built as a family retreat, it has a tranquil & calm ambience. The garden & lawn in Spring look lusciously awesome, a gorgeous venue for an outdoor Garden Wedding/Special Event, for those brave enough to chance Melb’s weather! ......Parking & Entry is free, to the grounds & the Mansion ~ Enjoy! *: )

Coolart Historic Homestead
Beautiful historical building with many exhibits of old farm equipment. It also has a beautiful garden, BBQ & picnic facilities onsite and a long walking trails along the wetlands with bird hides to view the birds.

The area is great for walks and the homestead is beautiful however it is NOT open to the public.
