Love the variety and food was pretty tasty.One less star because a lot of seats for a small space in Caulfield can be difficult to navigate and there isn’t a list to show what’s on offer on that day especially when standing in line.Visited the store in Coburg as well (on a different day). Thought the instructions to enter wasn’t clear - enter via Waterfield St if Walkers Arcade entrance on Sydney Rd is closed. I did a loop looking for a barbershop, but might be more familiar for locals.

08/01/23 - visited the branch in Caulfield today for lunch and was a little disappointed. Food was either overly salty or tasteless. Plates from previous diners were left on the table, and cutleries provided were dirty. The paper used to serve rice and dishes disintegrated while having the meal. For the price, one would find another better food option.Small restaurant but with excellent food. Spicy but tasty. Reached the restaurant at about 6pm and customers started coming. Be there early!!

Overrated and overpriced. It says $18 Nasi Kapau for two meats and two veggies. But, they counted one tempe as the meat". Hence we only got one piece of fried chicken

As a padangnese,Tambo Ciek dishes were very delightful. I came here to eat meatballs and ended up takeaway their nasi kapau. Bakso was meaty and tasty. It would be better if they add egg noodle and veggies into it. Nasi kapau was so good, it came in JUMBO portion. Totally would recommend this place!

This is our favorit Padang restaurant that serve authentic nasi kapau from Bukit Tinggi. The food always taste delicious but the spicy level is not consistent. Sometimes the food just have the right amount of spiciness but other time they are really spicy. The snack, desserts and jajanan pasar is good for take away. Will keep coming back for the wonderful food.

My new favourite for Minang/Padang's food. Authentic, delicious yet inexpensive. The staffs were friendly like most Indonesians are. Highly recommended.WARNING: Very spicy!April 2022 updates: Rendang best ever!Cendol drink is actually better than d'penyet/d'cendolJu e 2023: still great!

Tambo Ciek is the very first on my thought everytime I crave of Indo food. Super worth the price with big portion! All the dishes just taste bloody good! Taste 10/10!

Padang food is famous for generous portion. Looks the portion greatly reduced quite recently for a much higher price. The beef rendang is also so tiny and I got tendon instead of meat. We won’t be coming back.

I was excited to try this new restaurant in the hood. The food was ok but not great. The rendang beef was tasty but very hard to cut with the provided plastic fork. The spice took my stomach for a ride but I don’t blame them for that. At $18.50 for a takeaway pack served out of a bain-marie it was pretty darn expensive. There were too many tables for the space so walking to the back to order was very difficult.
