Getting on skates for the first time ever at 40 was scary! But with a little bravery & lots of encouragement and quality teaching from Goldie it’s amazing how much you can learn in 8 short weeks. The classes have a positive and playful vibe - you get enough time to repeat the basics but there’s ample opportunity to push yourself.Goldie’s infectious energy for building confidence and community shines through every class, workshop and event - the School is a friendly, inclusive community.

Best place to learn skating skills in Torquay and Geelong area. I started with beginner classes and progressed to intermediate over the last couple of years. Love the vibrant community feel of the classes and colourful events.

This is such a fun and welcoming community, and the roller disco's are a real treat! These classes attract a great bunch of people, supporting each other as we try new things, giving us the confidence to cut loose on the roller disco dance floor!

Simply the best!!!In just a couple of months I've gone from an absolute beginner that was scared of doing everything, to a person that is confident at trying new things and trying to rope in all their friends to this fun social fitness activity.The beginners classes that Goldie runs are so enjoyable and the worst thing about them is the holidays where there are no classes on!Surf Coast Roller Skaters also operate workshops, events, community skates and skate shack evenings.Would give 6 stars if I could, but 5 is the limit⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve done one term and can drastically see a huge change in my confidence on skates and knowledge! I am astonished I am able to do some of the things I have been and believe it is from the fabulous and fun support that is included in these classes. 10/10 experience

What an amazing experience my radical rainbow tween has had so far. Goldie has ensured every week has been full of fun, laughter, encouragement and progressive moves to match the skill level of the group. Anyone thinking of putting their skates on for the first time or back on after decades - do it you won’t regret it.

Had a great all-levels class at Surf Coast Roller Skaters - coach Goldie made sure the class had something for everyone, safe warm-up, consolidate, learn something new. And of course dancing for even more fun. I just popped in from out of town but Laura and all the skaters made me feel welcome immediately. Highly recommend!!

Goldie is outrageous, brilliant and absolutely fabulous and she builds the confidence of all that come to her skating classes. She brings new moves, new songs and so much passion with her to each and every class! She will teach the basic drills and tricks over and over and over again until you nail it completely, she’s always happy to give you advice on technique in individual ways. Goldie understands we are all unique and amazing in our ways and she works with that! If you want to gain confidence, try something new and have so much fun doing it, join Goldie at the surfcoast roller skaters!! You won’t regret it!!

Loved the fresh rollers course! Very beginner friendly, yet I feel that I’ve learnt so much in just a couple of terms. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to find a fun way to keep fit and learn something new. Great vibe!

Always fun classes, a great workout on wheels! Goldie and all the other skaters are always welcoming and friendly they will happily answer any questions about skates or skating skills.
