Hair dressers they are not. Unprofessional. Bottom line.I went into Style and Co asking for a particular hairstyle (picture included), thinking that a perm would do it. I was unequivocally assured that the style could and would be achieved with a perm.Come time for styling, the other pics show the result achieved. Nothing like what I was promised. Hair has been damaged to a point of no return. And to add insult to injury, despite doing all they asked of me pre, and post treatment, the proprietress Mariah and her assistant name also beginning with M blamed me for the outcome. Clearly they as hairdressers do not know hair, but the client who has never had a perm before, and on whose hair they heaped (and I mean heaped) certain chemicals should know what the outcome would be better.My hair is so burnt to a crisp that upon my insistence, even their post treatment had no positive result on my hair.It has been with a lot of perseverance on my part, and reluctance on theirs, that my money was refunded.I wouldn’t recommend going to them for a perm or anything to do with hair for that matter. I also question the authenticity of the rave reviews they get.—- Response to owners ——Hi Maryam,It is lovely when you believe the BS that you spout. You guys are clearly chronic liars and, I’m sorry but, your bald-faced lies absolutely will not do. You lied about being able to achieve the style I sought with a perm and you lie now about the course of events. Shame on you!!!Many other hairdressers I have spoken to since are well-versed your tactics it would appear. They all concur on a couple of points1. The style I sought would be achieved with rollers, not a perm (which you blatantly lied about).2. There has been extensive hair damage done which will take very many months AND expensive hair products to repair.Since your memory is clearly flawed, let’s review shall we.I was never “happy” with my style. In fact, from the get-go I stressed how UNHAPPY with my perm I was, to the point of telling you I had an event to attend that evening and I was loathe to go in public with hair like that. You guys convinced me to buy products that would “help my hair”, and try them. I did as you asked. When that didn’t work, I returned a few days (not weeks) to make my displeasure known. It was only because I continued to make a fuss in your salon with other clients watching, that you gave me a hair Botox and hair straightener which was meant to solve the problems. You asked me to stay with the product in my hair a few days to “let the product work”. Sadly it did not (and yes I have all the proof lest you continue to lie and I am forced to take you to the courts or Consumer Affairs Victoria- again). At every turn I had to come to your salon and make a big fuss before you offered a solution. Same with getting a refund.I love the work of fiction that constitutes your response to my review, but the pictures tell a clear story and a scathing review is not one given by a “happy” customer.

Maryam and her team are really professional.I’ve been coming to Style and co salon since 2015 and I can’t describe how much Maryam has changed the health of my hair and made me feel 110% every time I walk out of her salon! Highly recommend.

This is my favourite Salon that I have been coming to for years. Any emergencies Mariam always finds time to fit me in and does a great job for my crazy hair. The stuff there are also so welcoming an nice an kind. Very sheik an clean salon too and the environment is so warm. Great pricing too and any treatments she does always keep my hair looking and feeling healthy each time.If your looking for a hairdresser who knows what she's doing this is the placeThank you always to the lovely stylist10/10 :)

I've been going to this Salon for about 6 years. Myhairstylist is Maryam. She has been amazing with an eye for art and true passion for doing hair, she is a true perfectionist. She will never let you go out of the salon without feeling and looking good. She was the first hairstylist that I could trust to do my hair. Style & Co salon always delivers a high standard of service to its customers. All staff in the salon are friendly and welcome their clients warmly and treats them with kindness and respect. Maryam is extremely professional and lovely to work with. She listened to what I wanted, understood my vision and executed it beautifully. I got an amazing blow wave by Saraya, it’s been 3 days and it still looks fantastic.

I have got black and tick hair, no one could changed the colour as my wish, as a new costumer, I never seen this team before. Maryam and her team are very professional. They work very hard even it takes so long till costumer is satisfied. Thank you Maryam and lovely team.
