Department of Transport Mirrabooka

Had my PDA today and got Rod as my driving assessor. I was very nervous but he was very fair and kind, and made me feel a lot less nervous during my test. I passed too! Wishing everyone the best of luck. I hope you get him for your test, as he's one of the best and most generous driving instructors I've come across.

Waste of TIME and MONEY! The assessor #2397 ( not being racist but I think his Indian ) worst assessor ever failed me for no reason. If only the car had camera in & out I would take this further and show the authorities. He would not say what mistake I made even tho I insisted him to tell me so I can know for my self. Anyways long story short he was very rude and racist honestly and seeing that everyone pretty much went through the same experience as I had in Mirrabooka DOT by going through the reviews. At the end when my driving instructor asked him what was the mistake and hand over the report he said that oh she didn’t turn the car AC on because apparently the windows were somehow foggy when the front windscreen was nice and clear and the car AC button was on and the car heater was on at speed of 2 the whole time whilst driving. I think an INVESTIGATION should be done & the assessor’s should be tested and checked before they assess new drivers and failing them for no valid reasons.

I passed my PDA with assessor Amrit. He is very friendly, calm and nice assessor and very clear instructions.Thank you Mr Amrit, you are amazing

I came in to pickup my private plates, i waited over an hour in the waiting room and the lady turned me down due to my paperwork being printed out and instead of crossing out the simply error on the paperwork she told me that i would have to refill out the whole thing and spoke to me as if i were stupid and kept laughing at me, ended up wasting so much time just to be sent home over such a small and easily fixable error, the lady at the front was friendly and questioned why she didn’t just just cross it out and write it next to. overall really bad service and extravagant wait times with only 4 of the 16 or so counters open for use

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the recent experiences I had while applying for an NDIS check at your office. The level of customer service and unprofessional conduct displayed by your staff members have left me extremely upset and dissatisfied.When I initially contacted your customer service department to explain my situation and request an alternative lodgement for my application, the attendant refused to listen and rejected my request without consideration. Despite explaining the circumstances surrounding a student placement and the need for flexibility, my genuine needs were disregarded.During my visit to the DoT Mirrabooka office on June 2nd, 2023, I arrived at 3:16 pm, well before the office closing time of 4:30 pm, which provided ample time to complete the necessary paperwork. However, I encountered yet another incident of poor customer service. The staff member responsible for distributing counter numbers at the front counter displayed rudeness and a lack of respect towards customers, including myself. This unwelcoming attitude and discourteous behavior further contributed to my growing dissatisfaction.Furthermore, when my turn finally came at counter 2 around 4 pm to 4:10 pm, I faced an incredibly disrespectful staff member. After pointing out a minor mistake in my application, I politely informed her that I could correct it quickly using my phone. Despite explaining the urgency and importance of completing the process that day, she callously dismissed my concerns and stated that she would only serve me if she gets the time to." This response demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and empathy towards my situation. Later

Good facility, nice chairs and lovely staff. Incredibly busy, dont underestimate how long you'll be waiting for. I arrived at 7am, doors open at 8.15am, there was already 4 people waiting. By the time doors opened the line was 25-30 people deep out into the car park. The clerks though are doing their best and are really helpful. Please have patience as everyone is in the same boat just waiting to be served.

Most horrific place to take your PDA test! do NOT come here! Assessor was rude and purposefully said the instructions under a low tone so that I couldn’t hear what they were saying. There is no way this place is real. They will make sure you fail 100%. This place is a money laundering business, they take your money, fail you on purpose and make you rebook for even more money. There should be an investigation launched against this place

One of the quickest DOT office I have used for wait time and staff is friendly and helpful

Had my driving test last week and had rod who was incredible. He was very calm and made me feel not nervous about this whatsoever. Anybody who sits their test I hope you get him as he was lovely!
