Great camp ground. Large riverside sites along tge beautiful Russell River, decent amenities. Friendly staff. Daily rubbish collection from your site is great. Great spot to get away.

Absolutely perfect. Whole camp site was in pristine condition and staff is excellent. The river and nature around the sites made sleeping a joy. But the dog sleds was one of the best experiences ever. Worth every penny and more. The ride was unforgettable and then we got to hangout with the dogs after. They were so friendly and playful. Getting a little dirty made it that much better. Could not recommend anything more.

Fantastic place. Camping spots are huge, staff are friendly, 2 fenced dog runs, tons of open space for kids to play, swimming holes with crystal clear water, food vans on weekends. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at rivers edge. This place is definitely designed to stay and enjoy being there. Enjoying the river and serenity of the surroundings.We could see trout constantly throughout the river. Too bad I didn't have my fishing rodI love that they are dog friendly.The camp areas allocated are absolutely massive and private (hedges between all allocated camp sites)Overall we rated it as our favourite camp-site over our trip.

I didn't rate the rooms as *rooms* but I rated 5 stars as the camp sites were fantastic.Toilets constantly cleaned, such a beautiful site. Very kid and dog friendly as well. Good pricing, lovely staff. Kitchen was handy, remember to have $2 coins for showers and bring lots of your own water. They have a place that sells pizza in Friday & Saturday, you can get breakfast of bacon and egg muffins or waffles. All well priced. I hear the coffee van is amazing as well, however the people who run it were away at time of our stay. Not much mobile reception but there are spots you can access it if needed.Such a peaceful place to stay.Highly recommend.

10 out of 10. Large sites that you could fit 4 vans on if you wanted to. Good fire pits. This is in my top 5 camping spots in Tasmania and I rate it at number 1. Lots of clean toilet blocks and clean shower blocks. This will be the first trip of many. Very relaxing, the phone reception is a bit patchy so if you want to escape the rat race this is the spot. Already planing our next trip.

Great camping area away from everything including phone reception. Lovely river and good food sellers onsite.
